Declassified Government Documents Detail First Contact with Extraterrestrial Life

In June 2021, the US government made a remarkable announcement that caused a stir around the world. They claimed to have no explanation for dozens of flying objects reported by military pilots. The Pentagon and NASA have acknowledged the possibility that these objects may be unidentified aerial phenomena of non-terrestrial origin. Intelligence fears that potential rivals could gather information about the inhabitants of our planet and pose a threat to Earth's security.

This information has blindsided even the most ardent skeptics who previously ridiculed ufology. What if this hypothesis is true and extraterrestrial visitors could come to us at any minute? What are the purposes for which they might arrive on Earth, and how exactly can an interaction with another civilization take place? Does mankind have a plan of action for such an event, and what is it?

Various statements about contact between heads of state and aliens have circulated since the Cold War, but all these theories are rather of a conspiracy nature. However, recently, such loud statements from high-ranking people have appeared in the information space every now and then. For instance, in an interview with the Israeli newspaper Yetiot Aharonot, the former head of Israel's space security program, Professor Haim Eshed, claimed that alien civilizations and the US government have entered into a cooperation agreement. The agreement allegedly refers to the creation of a Joint Base under the surface of Mars.

It should be noted that the US leadership intended to disclose information about the negotiations with the Galactic Federation, but the aliens did not allow this to happen because they feared it would cause mass hysteria on Earth. Of course, this information raises doubts about the applicant's adequacy, and space technologies do not allow people to get to Mars yet, let alone live and work on another planet. However, in favor of the version that the high and mighty are actively preparing for contact with alien species, the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland announced the creation of a new research center in November. This center brings together the brightest minds to prepare humanity for the day when we can make first contact with an intelligent extraterrestrial civilization. Experts will develop a unified way of responding to aliens in case they contact us, or vice versa.

Anyway, it's better to have a plan in case an extraterrestrial civilization appears. Probably, such a plan with detailed protocols already exists in the leading country of planet security, but these documents are leak-proof, and we can only predict one way or another how things will unfold, depending on the intentions of our guests. Let's assume that the aliens will come to us with a so-called humanitarian mission in order to share their technology or knowledge.

Technologies have accelerated our development and solved age-old problems like diseases, famine, wars, and environmental issues. A highly evolved civilization capable of interstellar travel and communication with humans is likely to be much more technologically advanced. However, if aliens were to attempt to capture our planet, what would they do to humanity? Considering the aliens' likely distaste for human experiments with nuclear weapons and the devastation caused by human impact on the environment, it is unlikely that they would be pleased with humanity. Would it be an invasion in the traditional sense of warfare seen in movies and books? Let's suppose the aliens decide to use weapons to destroy humans.

Aircraft approaching our orbit are destroyed, space stations and satellites are mistaken for possible defense means, and Earth understands the Invaders' aggressive intentions. An Alien Invasion plan is set in motion, and a pre-established treaty between major countries activates a protocol for international action. The protocol involves using all forces of the Air Force, navies, ballistic missiles, and carriers to defend against enemy spaceships. However, the aliens are striking from orbit, causing serious damage to Earth. Military bases are destroyed, and tens of thousands of human casualties are reported. Despite the aliens' apparent technological superiority, humanity continues to resist.

Reliable anti-nuclear bunkers and military equipment provide some hope for survival. Combat aircraft are sent into the atmosphere to engage with the spaceships, and ground-based interceptors shoot at the alien warships. F-16, F-22, and F-35 fighters attack with heat-seeking missiles, and some of the spaceships are hit as they enter the atmosphere. However, those that break through move too fast to be stopped. The aliens achieve supremacy in the air, and the remaining days become a desperate armed confrontation with Earth. The gap in technological development leaves humanity little chance of survival. Alien troops land, tanks fight against them, and the aliens win with their superior weapons. The only chance for guerrilla warfare by the remaining military units attacking the aliens in their supply bases for years. The probability of success for mankind is low, and only a tenth of the planet's population is saved. There are theories about how other civilizations could destroy us, such as bacterial life forms of extraterrestrial origin, according to Stephen Hawking.

Technologies and advancements have allowed for the acceleration of human development and the resolution of longstanding problems such as diseases, famine, wars, and environmental issues. However, in the event of an alien invasion, it is unlikely that a highly evolved civilization would be pleased with humanity's experiments with nuclear weapons and damaging effects on the environment.

A protocol for international action would be implemented under a pre-established treaty between major countries, involving various forces and weapons to defend against the aliens. Guerrilla warfare may be an option if a favorable outcome for humanity is to be achieved. It is also possible that extraterrestrial life forms, such as bacteria, could become a dangerous weapon against humanity, causing violent pandemics. Additionally, humans may meet with controlled extraterrestrial equipment rather than the aliens themselves, potentially leading to the remote disposal of humanity.

It is important to note, however, that the idea of war and invasion may not be applicable to other civilizations, as they may engage in fruitful foreign relations without resorting to violence. Some theorists suggest that more advanced civilizations may be observing Earth and its nuclear experiments, potentially to prevent a nuclear war. The outcome of a meeting with alien representatives is uncertain, but it is hoped that they are not on an aggressive mission to take over planets, but rather to observe and promote the development of neighboring civilizations.
