It all began, Sunday January 12, 2021. Late night as I scrolled through my phone bored with nothing to do. Need I remind you, living through a pandemic really has taken its wear and tear on everyone across the world. SO, I decided to distract my mind by creating a profile on Match.com, to get myself back "Out on the market". Shaking my head as I completed all the necessary questions in the bio, I asked myself was if I even ready for something this? Little did I know that my fairytale would soon become my reality. As I utilized the search engine for my area I was not having much luck. I started to doubt, being reminded of my past situations. Hoping for an opportunity to finally get it right with one after not getting it right with many. You see, you're mind can be very powerful with the thoughts y0u manifest, and what you manifest can become your reality. So they say be care for what you ask for. So I continued to read every profile description, No one quite stood out, after I spent countless hours logging in and out.

Monday January 13,2021 I was becoming restless in finding a match for me after reading all the success stories left in the reviews. Determined, I started my search again, This time I expanded my area within 25 miles. Usually as you search you are given suggestions for options. So on this day my suggestions were an option. Glancing at each picture I came across this one photo that made take a double look. In the photo was a woman dressed in a black with a fur coat sitting in them car. To the average eye she was fierce and untouchable, but to me I could see her through her eyes. Hesitating I clicked to another profile and somehow found myself back at the same profile. After telling myself over and over again that she was not the others, I sent her a message after reading her profile, just to say hello. This profile was not like any other but intriguing. She was 40, single, 5 kids , and CEO of her 2 businesses that she owned. Interested I clicked the link to her social media and began t0 view her videos. In these videos they contained her being a contribution back to the community by sharing knowledge on how to become a successful business owner. I was amazed and proud.

Tuesday January 14, 2021 I received a message saying hello and I hope all is well. Anticipating the moment when we would meet I stumbled through my words. Asking the most common questions: Where are you from? Are you really single?, and most of all Do you like women? Enjoying the conversation, all the questions were slowly answered and yes she liked women. So I of course asked for her number and she said that she had a busy lifestyle. With no worries I replied ,"Not a problem," text or call when you can. Later that night I received a call that would change my life forever. Speaking on the phone we both were nervous, but still continued. Deciding to meet , she chose the hotel that would be half way with her being 4 hours away and having to drive.

Wednesday January 15,2021 I finally arrived at the hotel and we both were super nervous. I honestly could not believe what was happening. Thinking to myself could this be a dream. After talking for hours after hours I decided to stay. Even not having to work the next day made it a plus, because I didn't want to have this moment end. We stayed up all night until the sun came up, just reminiscing on the past and the decisions that we both chose to make. My heart never felt more at ease knowing that someone else felt like me. She was scared and so was I, but we still continued to talk. As our eyes became restless from the lack of sleep we saw something out the corner of our peripheral. Looking at each we both said "ROACH", and grabbed all of our belongings. Reaching the door, she pulled out her phone taking a picture to report to the front desk for a refund.

Thursday January 16th continued and we needed to brush our teeth amongst other things. I decided to book another hotel in the same location. We drove around to get a bite to eat and pick me up some clothes to wear. Sitting at Juicy Crab ( a local seafood restaurant) while drinking a glass of Merlot, we found out we both loved to eat. Laughing at the previous hotel situation I began to tell her that I didn't want to go back to my job anymore. I was just so unhappy. Also, I just had moved to Atlanta from North Carolina after my dad had passed way a few months earlier. She started to tell me how courageous I was for even taking a chance in another state where I didn't have family. I simply told her that I was spontaneous and wanted a brand new start. After eating and shopping we ended our day because she had to get back to work , and so did I.

Friday January 17th things were back to normal and we were relaxing before the new work week. Before I new it the week had went by so fast with us communicating back and forth non stop. She would tell me how her businesses were going and I would tell her about the call center that I was working at. This is when life changed forever. She called me and said since you tired of your job, come stay with me. I was speechless and not sure of what to say. In this moment I began to contemplate to stay or go. Praying for a guidance on a unthinkable choice. My co workers of course tried to talk me out of it, but somehow my heart just knew. She gave me a feeling that no one has.

Wednesday February 3, 2021 I woke up with a epiphany and decided to call with my answer. In the middle of the day I called and said that I would move. Taking a leap a faith tears began to roll down my face as I walked to my supervisor and informed them that it was my last day. Everyone was in disbelief. I've never felt so liberated and free. Packing my bags I thought about how I always imagined that this day would never come. As we arrived in her home town Savannah, GA she began to tell me about all the hotpots we would visit to eat. To be honest I have never seen so many restaurants growing up in a small town. We also visited her businesses and her kids. Life could not be any better. Before you knew it, I was settled in and we were going out to eat on a daily and having several glasses of Merlot, with videos to prove it.

Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. After a while we were truly inseparable. Who ever said that fairytales were not realm were wrong. I would have ever guessed that the best first would have been the greatest dream of my life. Safe to say I proposed and I am awaiting for her to be my wife. I will never leave her, but always stand by her side. She is my first, my last, my everything.
