Events Being Put On Round The Country To Celebrate The Good Work Ice Cream Vendours Do To Build Community Spirit

There are many things in life that tend to bring back good memories from our childhoods. One of the best is when we may have been relaxing out doors in hot weather whilst having a nice ice cream to help us keep cool. Sales of the popular product are expected to have risen dramatically during the recent heat wave that effected many parts of the UK. Temperatures around the country rose dramatically, the highest of which was recorded in Faversham in Kent where weather centres recorded a temperature of 35.8 degrees celcius on the first of July.
The story of how ice cream developed is an interesting one as the treat began it's life being an ancient iced treat. While the exact origin is debated, early forms existed in ancient China and Persia, and the process of freezing liquids using ice and salt was documented in the 13th century. The dessert evolved through various cultures, with the first documented instance in England appearing at a royal banquet in 1671. Mass production and commercialization in the 19th and 20th centuries transformed ice cream into the widely enjoyed treat it is now.
Ice cream can be sold in a number of different flavours which help to keep the product fresh in people's minds and add more variety to prevent people getting sick of just having the same thing all the time. This helps to increase the number of different products which are sold and develop people's taste buds and pallets.
