Truanting

My Alarm goes off at 6.45am. I wake up suddenly, looking at my teddy and call out ‘Keeper’. I run the bath, I brush my teeth and I take out my red top. Mum calls me into her room ‘come and give me a kiss’ I nervously walk into her room and I bend over to kiss her. Mum knows me too well. She said ‘Something feels strange and I can’t put my finger on it. I look at mum and say bye, I need to meet Tasha, see you later.

Tasha is round the corner, and as I get further away from my house, I stop , I take of my white shirt and now I’m wearing my red top I apply my red lipstick and see Tasha walking towards me . Tasha’s wearing red also but doesn’t look decent. She skips to me and says ‘Yes babes I dressed my best this morning. OMG you look the hottest, I didn’t realize you was so pretty’. I give Tasha the lipstick, now we look like little girls. As I look at the clock it’s on 7.45am, and I know its to early to call Keeper. Why don’t we go to the 24/7 Diner , 'come Tash lets wait there.

We walk towards the 24/7 diner and sit down. The clock in the diner says 8am, and the waiter walks towards us with the menu. I look at the waiter with a look of nervs because I know we dont have much money.

Tasha rudely says to the waiter ‘You're too fast, Can you come back? We have just come through the front door. We don’t know what we want yet’. The Waiter says OK and walks away. ‘Gosh man. Who’s got 4 pound to pay for your idiot breakfast, like I don’t food in my yard’. I’m thinking. If he takes long were going to have to buy something Tasha looks at the menu and scrolls her fingers down to the drinks section. ‘It’s 70p for a tea. This place is a thief ’. The Waiter is looking over and whispering to the other waiter. The waiters are now staring at us. I’m feeling frustrated with Tasha ‘Stop shouting like that you’re going to get us kicked out’. I get my phone from her pocket and I dial his number. She looks at me. Suddenly Keeper answers, Keeper says ‘Hello baby girl’, ‘Hello, where are you’, he replies ‘I’m just getting up babe, where you’. ‘I’m in the 24/7 diner I have been waiting for you’ .Ok... I’m coming. Give me 20 minutes to wash my face and get clean’ ‘Ok’ I said. Tasha begins to jump around in her seat. I look at Tasha and say to Keeper ‘ok’. I put down the phone And Keeper calls Galley, Galley sees Keeper calling him and jumps up ‘Yo fam what you saying?’ Hey. Get up. You need to come to the café Galley asks ‘Come to the 24/7 Diner for what?’ Keeper responds ‘for Tasha’. ‘Tasha. Are you joking? Galley cries ‘You think I’m coming out my bed for that girl, be serious K man I’m not in mood for that’. Galley wakes up his girlfriend who he is lying down with. She asks him ‘who you talking too? We are still sitting in the 24/7 Diner with 3 empty mugs of tea on the table, the clock says 9.11am. Tasha asks ‘So what did he say?’ I reply ‘Umm he said he’s coming soon. ‘And what else did he say’ asks Tasha. ‘He said he needs to talk to me’. Tasha asked ‘Talk to you about what? He’s a joker. 'Galley is better look sexy'. Cause I’ve done up myself for him this morning’.

When she said that I had to give her some advice ‘listen when they come, hold it down a bit, don’t talk too much. Just be mature. The time is now 10.15. We have 5 empty cups of tea on the table .Tasha cries ‘OH why aren’t they here yet’.

A touch of a button, Keeper and Galley are at the door walking into the diner, Keeper walks straight up to me and kisses me holding me tightly looking into my eyes. Galley stands there and nods his head at Tasha, Tasha nervously watches me and keeper and looks at Galley and then Tasha says

‘So Galley where’s my love’. Galley smirks and puts his head down. Keeper looks at Galley and says ‘Give her a hug man’. Galley screws up his face at Keeper and kisses his teeth and walks over to Tasha. Tasha opens her arms widely and Galley turns his body to the side and they have an awkward hug ‘ok... it’s cool’ says Tasha .Galley replies ‘what’s cool?’ ‘Na don’t worry ‘she says.
