Transgender People are Human too.
Are they not people too...

When I was in high school I lived next to a transgendered person. That person had no choice to become who she was. While growing up he changed into her. Something that can happen naturally in the grand scheme of things. I did not care so many years ago, but others did very much even to the point of threats of getting shot outside of her own house. This was in the 1980s and we have changed a lot since then, but we have a long way to go.
I hate to break the news to people, but transgendered people have been around for a long time. Let me give you an example. The Bible, of all things, tells of people who have been through a change. The New Testament speaks of people that have been through a transformation from one sex to another. Do you get the idea? The Christian Community does not even follow its own leader in the transformation process, the quickening in KIV, so why should they respect others?
Respect, that is the key to the problem. Transgendered people come in a lot of shapes and sizes. From the girl that is butch to the guy that is feminine, they have always been with us. Since then things have really taken off. Today you can change and be the person you want to be.
Transgendered people still have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness just like anyone else. They are not abominations or sex toys. They are people. People that want to be happy and joyful just like everyone else can be.
The old way of thinking is that these people changed themselves for some kind of sexual perversion. That may be true for very few, but the truth is that they feel that they need to change into who they really are as a person. We all do that mentally, but only some do it physically. That is the difference. You can change what you look like on the outside to fit what you are on the inside. It’s all good to me, but not to everyone else.
The truth is that others feel superior by denouncing and ridiculing them. I find no pleasure in this. Why should you? People put others down by making themselves look better? I don’t think so! I know a lot of people that call this being self-righteousness and it’s not. It is ugly is what it is!!! Hate comes in all shapes and sizes just like people and it needs to stop.
Yes, I said “hate.” That is all that it is hate. People don’t need to be like that, but they are. I judge people by who they are not what they look like and if you’re a piece of shit I’ll separate myself from you in a heartbeat. That is the key, separation. That is what the gay community has done and why not? If you were in a transgendered person’s shoes and someone else kept hating on you, you would stay away from them too.
Let’s try another strong word, “LOVE!!!”
Love is kind and gentle, not vengeful and mean. People need to love more but wait, others are still hating on them. You get the idea. You get what you give. Karma is a bitch and she will kick your ass if need be. She will even drop a tree on your head in the middle of the forest if you don’t understand yet? Trust me, I still have a lump on my head from the 80s to prove it…
