A Love Letter to the “Overly Sensitive”
Dear Sensitive Kid, I know you feel out of place a lot. You look around and wonder how everyone else seems to get it, and know what to do, but you don't. Your teacher says the class can have extra recess time if they finish the worksheet, and all the other kids cheer, but you panic inside. Recess is overwhelming for you, because everyone talks, and plays, and screams, but you don't have anyone to talk to, and you don't know what to, and you feel painfully aware. So you sit and play in the sand, until you discover books.

Plastered
Plaster is my medium of choice. Its purpose is a means-to-an-end of replication. Yet, when left in its rough, primitive state- as I like to leave it- its reflection is seldom right on the money: never perfect nor does it need to be. I love to plaster my friends and other women’s bodies. What was once a frivolous, fun craft to do in an afternoon has now become a sort-of cosmic healing journey to self-empowerment. I find the most immense amount of joy empowering other women using my plaster-craft as a body-positive celebration.

I Started Saying No To Sex
I have never been the victim of rape, but I have been a victim of sexual abuse and misconduct. When I think back throughout my life as a woman, or even as a little girl growing into a woman, I have always been at the mercy of little boys taking out their aggressions. I have always been on the receiving end of unwanted affection that I had to accept or make excuses for.

A Team of Heroes
MISCONCEPTION OF HEROES As a young girl growing up, hearing all of the fairytales and watching all the superhero movies I was convinced of a few things regarding heroes. I was convinced through reading and hearing stories that fairytales only happened for Caucasian people or strange looking people in faraway lands that don't exist and that super heroes either wore a cape, had a superior physical physique or strength, supernatural powers from a scientific malfunction or mishap, or always carried some sort of scepter to show their extraordinary prominence to ordinary people.

Twin Flame Relationship Pitfalls
Pitfalls are common in any relationship but in a twin flame relationship the stakes feel much higher, as a result, pitfalls can be more difficult. Sometimes the pitfalls in a twin flame relationship are related to lessons or timing. Other times they are a warning that you haven’t met your twin at all.

Which Character from Disney's Encanto Are You?
“SEVEN FOOT FRAME, RATS ALONG HIS BACK!” I sing this line at the top of my lungs at least six times a day since I listen to Disney’s Encanto soundtrack whenever I’m cooking or doing dishes. The count would be higher, but I never wake up in time to cook breakfast. Less dishes for me to clean. Anyways, now that you have this banger stuck in your head let’s come talk about Bruno and the rest of the Madrigals.
