Tobi Makinde Finally Unveils Who His Famous Father Is (VIDEO)

For those who do not know, there is a niche group of people on the internet who have always been curious about who Nollywood actor Tobi Makinde's father is. This all started because in a number of interviews, Tobi Makinde has stated that his father is also a Nollywood actor, and a number of people and blogs have stipulated about who exactly this famous actor is that is also Tobi Makinde's father. Well, now, in a new social media post, Tobi Makinde finally reveals the identity of his famous father in a new Instagram video. Here's what Tobi Makinde had to say.

Taking to social media to post the video of his father, Tobi Makinde said:

TOBI MAKINDE: Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my father, Pa Akinjimi Olufisayo Makinde and the Legendary Jide Kosoko @princejidekosoko.

This man is the reason I toured the path of filmmaking. He’s been my guide from the very beginning. I learnt professionalism at a very young age because of him. He nurtured my talent and always encouraged me even when the chips were down. Because of this man, I can never relate to the phrase “my parents were never in support of my career”. That phrase was something strange to me and I never understood it cos I had the most supportive parents (My mum inclusive, Mrs Oluseyi Makinde).

I celebrate you today daddy. You’re the best and I love you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. A lot of times, I say to people that my dad is an actor but they don’t seem to remember or know you. Don’t worry sir, very soon, they will know you very well sir!

A big shoutout to a mentor and the director of this classic series PALACE (those wey know, know. Not talking of Y2K kids upwards… Lol😂😂😂), Uncle Tunji Bamishigbin for accepting me as a child actor when my dad first presented me to him at age 7. These amazing men are the bedrock of the amazing career I have.

By the way DADDIES, there’s still more to come; I’m just scratching the surface. I have still not gotten the opportunity to mention your names on some big stages, but I will soon enough, God willing. The world needs to hear about EVERYONE who contributed to the success of this small boy named TM who’s the best at what he does.
