Tidying Up My Life
Working towards cleanliness mentally and physically.

Tidying and cleaning isn't the first thing that people want to do, but it's necessary so that you are not surrounded by filth. Being clean is a sign that someone is doing fine and that there well off. Cleaning can become boring and it could add up if you don't do it. That's why trying to find ways that speed up the cleaning process and help with keeping it together is a good way to start a good healthy lifestyle. The quote by Morgenstern about working smarter and not harder has some truth to it. Finding that cleaning life balance is a good way to get on the right track.
There are a couple of things that create smart and space-saving ideas to make it easier to be tidier. Being able to share ideas and tell other people gives creates a good feeling where I'm able to help someone else on their journey to being cleaner mentally and physically. Rolling up your clothes into small circle balls is one way to save space when putting your clothes away. It creates more space for clothes as well if you wanted more space in your clothes drawer. It also helps better for you to be able to see all your clothing better and pick out trendy outfits for the day.

Another way to save on something is the usage of paper. Helping the environment any way you can be awesome. Doing it may seem mundane, but helping the environment one person at a time really makes a difference. That's why getting a chalkboard would save on paper and you get to write and draw stuff in chalk. It's a double win and more fun as well. With chalkboards, you can write out to-do lists, grocery lists, things that you need to remember, what to pack on a trip, etc. They're multipurpose for a lot of different things and events. Plus using chalk is always more fun and you can get one that compliments your room's chosen colors or office space.

Color coding might seem a little crazy, but it aesthetically pleasing and helps when you are trying to find a certain dress or jacket. A way to bring some organization is color coding your closet by the rainbow. It can actually help with stress as you make your way through your clothes. You get to see what you still wear and donate what you don't wear. It also helps with any other clutter you might have in your closet. Color coding every month or every other month can help keep clutter down, stress at a low or nonexistent level, and helps with making your room look nicer. It's a lot more fun than it sounds, giving it a try wouldn't be so bad.

While your down there in your closet, how do your shoes look? Are they thrown haphazardly in a pile, stuffed in a bin, or not even in your closet? A way to help with cleaning up your shoes if there messy is using a shoe rack, putting them in two to three nice little rows, or putting a door shoe rack on the back of your door. Any one of these methods work and looks that much better than just putting your shoes anywhere. With the shoe rack get one that fits the size of your closet if that's where you keep your shoes. Try to go for a medium-sized one, that way you still have space in your closet to store other things. If your going to do the little neat rows of shoes line them up next to each other until you get halfway into your closet and then repeat the pattern from front to back. Lastly, if you want to do the door hanger, get a shoe rack that has enough space for most of your shoes and hang it up. If any shoes don't fit you can store them in the closet in neat rows. This will help with decluttering and keeping your room and closet clean.

A cool way to add a splash of color to your walls is by hanging up your hats and scarves. Different scarves and hats shouldn't be stuffed in drawers and closets. That makes it harder to get to them and you're less likely to wear them. Putting them where you can reach them can help with making that decision to spice up your outfit and day. Hanging them up in neat rows looks nice and the different colors make your wall look more colorful and fun.

Do you love to read and indulge in the wonderful world of books or do you enjoy writing and have a mountain of notebooks that contain poems and diaries? Well having a library is pretty common for those who love to read, enjoy hobbies, have trophies, love writing, etc. Libraries are a great thing to have and create different things you are interested in. They're even better when there organized and don't have extra clutter hanging off of them. To help with getting rid of anything look at what it is. If you have notebooks you don't need or use anymore recycle the paper. If you have books that you don't want to keep or don't enjoy donate them to local libraries or places that take books. When you have other things in the library try keeping it dust-free by dusting every two weeks to a month. Keeping a clean library looks nice and feels good.

Keeping your life tidy and clean helps with the way you think and the way you act. Cleaning may feel pointless but it actually has benefits like helping with de-stressing, clearing your mind, helping organize the world you spend a lot of time in(your bedroom or house), and helps with how you think mentally. The first step to getting a good mindset is having a clean space to be in.
