The Mirror Called You

Where Science Meets the Heart, and Love Finds Its Voice

By Rakayat Islam MuntasirPublished 9 months ago 3 min read

Me: Anu, have you seen my heart?

Anu: I have not only seen it, I have also felt it. The feelings of the heart, the thrill of the waves are all as clear as daylight to me.

Me: How can you love so much?

Anu: In scientific terms, love is a kind of chemical state in the thalamus of our brain | For which our genes are responsible. At the beginning of love, symptoms such as increased heart rate, red cheeks and ears, and sweaty palms are seen; according to scientists, dopamine and norepinephrine hormones are responsible for all of them.

And it seems to me that no one in the world actually loves anyone. What we see in the name of love is observing our own desires, joy, feelings, naughty-sweet stories.....etc. in others. Just as we use mirrors to see our faces, we use others to see the activities of the deep recesses of our minds.

Me: Anu, what do you want when you come to me?

Anu: I didn't say that, I want the mirror called you to see the feelings deep in the heart.

Me: If you never get it.?

Anu: I don't believe in the word "if". Every person works with the strength of his heart. A person who aspires to get something with all the strength of his heart never fails.

Me: Is there really such a thing as the strength of a person's heart?

Anu: You're crazy, aren't you a moron🤭.

In recent times, modern scientific research has proven that the heart plays a role in human thoughts and desires. According to Howard Martin, a researcher at the HeartMath Institute, "We know that we emit electromagnetic energy from the heart and it can be measured. It is also known that this electromagnetic signal plays a role in our mental state. ... ... In my opinion, our self-defense system is completely controlled by the heart." Not only that, he commented on human thoughts and feelings: “It all comes from the heart.”

According to Dr. Mercola, the heart is the organ of truth and emotion (feeling). Not only that, he has shown in his research that the heart also has a kind of ‘brain’ and even neurons. And these neurons have an impact on decision-making. The heart directly plays a role in mental state.

Gregg Braden has been researching for more than 22 years. According to him: The heart literally has its own brain. It is not only an organ that pumps blood but also has its own neurons [usually brain cells are called neurons] and intelligence.

American researcher Rollin McCraty (who is the founder of the Institute of HeartMath in California) has shown in his research how the heart establishes two-way communication with the brain.

He has written a book called The coherent heart about the relationship between the brain and the heart and the intelligence of the heart. This book describes the relationship between the heart and the brain in great detail.

In the past, it was believed that instructions were sent from the brain to the heart in the form of neural signals. That is, the body's decision-making and thinking are controlled by the brain.

In modern times, scientists have found the opposite. Researchers at the HeartMath Institute have shown that the amount of signals that go from the brain to the heart is much greater than the amount of signals that go from the brain to the heart! Not only that, the signals that go from the heart to the brain play a role in various cognitive aspects such as attention, perception, memory and problem solving. Their research has also proven that the heart plays a key role in creating intuition. They also say that there is still a lot that people have to learn about this (i.e. the role of the heart in human perception and thinking).

“... HeartMath Institute have even indicated that the heart appears to play a key role in intuition. Although there is much yet to be understood, it appears that the age-old associations of the heart with thought, feeling, and insight may indeed have a basis in science....”

I know what you will ask me next, so just don't make me upset. Go now, drink water and sleep like a lucky child. You have classes in the morning. You have to get up. Sleep.

Me: You will also sleep now.

Anu: Okay, I will sleep.

Me: Good Night😘🥰❤️

Anu: Good Night🤗😘😴
