The Girl Everyone Wanted
A Parable of Desire, Deception, and the Final Truth

This is the story of a girl — a girl whom everyone loved.
Her smile held magic, and her eyes were so captivating that those who looked into them forgot to blink. People never tired of praising her. But one question lingered in every heart:
“Who will marry her?”
They say a young man once said to his father,
“Father, I want to marry a girl I’ve seen. The moment I looked at her, time stood still. Her eyes held the depth of oceans, and her face glowed like moonlight. I can’t imagine life without her.”
The father smiled gently and replied,
“If your heart is set on her, my son, then let’s go ask for her hand.”
So, father and son went to see the girl. But when the father laid eyes on her, he too was struck silent — as if he’d been caught in the same spell.
After a pause, the father softly said,
“Son, to be honest… this girl is not right for you. You’re still too young, too naive. A girl like her deserves someone older, more experienced — someone trustworthy and wise… like me.”
The son was stunned. His voice trembled as he responded,
“But Father, you’re my parent — don’t take away my dream. I will marry her. Not you.”
And so, an argument broke out between father and son, and they ended up going to the police station in search of justice.
When they told the officer the whole story, the officer nodded seriously and said,
“Bring the girl. Let’s ask her who she wants — the father or the son?”
But the moment the officer saw her, he froze. His expression changed. His eyes lit up.
“She’s not meant for either of you,” he declared.
“She’s fit for someone powerful — someone like me.”
Now three men were arguing. So they went to the minister, hoping for a fair solution.
The minister took one glance at the girl and smirked:
“This girl? She’s not for ordinary men. She’s for someone of my rank — a minister.”
Tensions rose, and the matter was finally taken to the ruler of the city.
Sitting on his throne, the ruler looked at the girl — and the hunger in his eyes gave away his thoughts.
“She deserves a man of true wealth and power — like me.”
All this time, the girl said nothing. Then, at last, she smiled and said:
“I have a solution. I will run, and all of you will chase me. Whoever catches me first… will have me.”
And just like that, the chase began.

The young man, the father, the police officer, the minister, and the ruler — all ran after her, each one fueled by his own desire.
Some ran with pride, some with greed, some with blind lust — each convinced he would win.
But suddenly… the earth opened up, and all five men fell into a deep, dark pit.
The girl stood at the edge, looked down at them, and spoke in a voice that echoed like thunder:
“Do you know who I am now?
I… am the world.
The same world that every human chases —
for beauty, wealth, power, and status.
They run so blindly after me,
that they forget their Creator,
they forget the Hereafter,
they forget their true purpose.
And in the end… they all fall into the same pit —
the grave.
Where none of it matters.
Not riches, not charm, not position.
Only your actions remain with you.”
This isn’t just a story.
It’s a mirror.
A question we must all ask ourselves:
What are we chasing?
And where is it really taking us…?

This story is wild! Can you believe all these grown men fighting over one girl? It shows how powerful her charm was. Made me wonder, what would've happened if they'd all just respected each other's feelings instead of causing such a ruckus? It's crazy how quickly everyone fell for her. I guess her beauty was hard to resist. But it's a shame things got so out of hand. Do you think there could've been a better way to handle the situation? I feel bad for the son. His dad basically stole his dream girl. And then all these other guys jumped in. It just goes to show that love can make people do crazy things. What do you think the girl was feeling throughout all this?
