The Black Book

It was a typical day in the city of brotherly love. Winter was starting to come to an end. Lola has been grateful for the winter but is happy to see spring come. She has been going through tough times financially but has been keeping a smile on her face anyway. Things could be worse she thought to herself. I have much to be grateful for.

She catches the train to work. Before getting on the train she went in a store that wasn’t here yesterday. The space has been up for rent for a long time. She decided to go in. You can smell sage burning and meditation music playing. A beautiful soft spoken woman greets her. “Hi my name is Divine. Take a look around and if you need anything I’m here. Hello and thanks Lola replied. As she look around it’s many different things like essential oils,herbs and some other things. She picked up some essential oil, Epson salt and sage. When she get to the she see two little black note books. I need a book for my dream journaling and to write down my desires, Lola thought to herself. Lola picked up the little black book and the lady Divine says that is an amazing choice. This book is what you call a manifestation book. Whatever you write will come to Fruition if you believe. Lola smiles and say just what I need lol. She payed for her things, smiled and said thank you. Divine said come again soon.

While on the train Lola listened to some music. She has on her headphones. She is watching music videos on YouTube. As she scroll down she see a video about scripting. She learns that it’s when you write down the things you want to manifest and then it will eventually come true. She thinks to herself, this is no Coincidence. Everything happens for a reason.

Lola went to work and her work day went by so fast. She couldn’t wait to take a long bath with her Epson salt and essential oil.. She read online About something called a spiritual bath.It helps clear away negative energy and replace it with good energy. While in the tub she listens to some 90’s r&b. She was in the tub for about a half an hour and she remembers to write down her wishes in her new black book. She gets out the tub,drys off and goes to get the book. She sit on the edge of her bed. And begins to write. She writes I’m a lottery winner and I will win 20,000 dollars tomorrow. She wrote it three times repeatedly. She then laid down and went to sleep.

She yarns and stretch as she wakes up thankful for another day. She gets up and get ready for work like she normally does. As she walks to the train she noticed that the new store was closed. She didn’t think anything of it. She walks into a convenient store and buys a lottery ticket. She goes to work and come home.

When she get home she showers and get ready for bed. She says to herself oh I forgot to check the lottery. She looks online and she can not believe her eyes. She pulled out her ticket and the exact same numbers on her ticket is the winning numbers. Her heart starts to race and her adrenaline is sky high. She wants to scream to the top of her lungs I’m rich B!?$# but she doesn’t. She just starts crying uncontrollably and thanking God.

The very next day she finds out where to go when you win a large lump sum of money from the lottery. She googles the place and took a Uber there. When she get there they confirm she has the ticket and tell her everything she needs to do. She had to wait a few weeks before actually getting the check. She went home and started packing the stuff she want and giving away other things. She can now afford the down payment to her new house. Hey I should go thank this lady because she was right about the black book. When she got around the corner to the store it said for rent again. She see a guy coming out. She says hey sir it was a store here two days ago that sale sage and essential oils. Where did it go. He said couldn’t have been. He said I am the owner of this store front and it’s still up for rent. Ok thank you she said.

This is very strange. How could this be? She had a lot of unanswered questions in her head. Welp I’m going to go home and chill. I wish I could tell someone I’m a lottery winner but I can’t. Lola goes in the house and write down her plans for what to do when she gets her check. The weeks went by and she goes on the news and they give her the check. The reporter ask is there anything you want to say. Lola says yes. I want to think God, and my little black book and thank you divine!
