Herbs include a mild laxative to speed up intestinal transit, diuretic herbs to get rid of excess water, and endocrine balancing herbs. Here are the best weight loss teas:
The offer of teas for weight loss is very generous. The formulas are set by specialists, so it's not too important to know what each one contains. However, when you see "identical natural flavors" or "citric acid addition" written on it, it seems like something is wrong with you. Wouldn't it be better to make your own tea?
I spied for you and found out some formulas. Moreover, we have gathered information about plants that can be helpful in weight loss.
Herbal tea
Green tea is one of the most effective antioxidants, dissolves fats, stops the absorption of fatty acids. The tea contained in the tea plant is invigorating and can replace coffee; Unlike caffeine, theine is gradually absorbed into the body, which reduces its toxic impact and prolongs its effect.
Black tea has properties similar to green tea, intensifying metabolism and promoting fat burning; Recent research has shown that two of the substances in black tea - theaflavin - behave similarly to insulin, controlling blood sugar levels.
Chicory promotes bile secretion, liver detoxification, and liver cell recovery, which is why it is recommended as an adjunct in the treatment of alcoholism.
Cranberry - Cranberry peel has purgative properties, so it is recommended for chronic constipation. It must be taken with caution because it is really effective!
Fennel is antispasmodic, carminative, soothes abdominal pain, reduces digestive spasms and bloating by evacuating intestinal gas; has a sedative effect.
Ginseng - root - is tonic, stimulating, and revitalizing.
Hibiscus. Also known as Chinese rose or Japanese rose, it is anti-inflammatory, slightly laxative, and antioxidant.
Lemon is a powerful antioxidant, detoxifier, and a classic source of vitamin C. While digested, lemon produces potassium carbonate, which works to prevent gastric hyperacidity; lemon turns from an acidic food into a basic one.
Lemon peel and orange peel oil, with detoxifying and decongestant properties, cleanse the liver and kidneys.
Licorice has a diuretic and laxative effect; fluidizes secretions, including intestinal mucus, increasing digestive motility.
A "high-commitment" purgative is obtained by combining, in equal parts, the powder of bark with licorice powder. Do not use more than 3 g (a knife tip) in a socket.
Lemongrass has antibacterial and antifungal properties, helps detoxify and energize.
Levisticum is a high-performance diuretic, even able to dissolve kidney stones; stimulates salivary and gastric secretion, fluidizes secretions, facilitating digestion and expectoration.
Lotus has a laxative and detoxifying effect.
Rosehips have a diuretic and bile secreting effect. They contain vitamin C which is an antioxidant but, on the other hand, increases appetite.
Corn silk is a diuretic.
Mint regulates digestion and stimulates bile secretion. Careful! Consumed in large quantities, mint can cause constipation.
Apples are a blood purifier and an intestinal antiseptic, as they promote the secretion of bactericidal intestinal diastase. They stimulate the activity of enzymes and are slightly laxative.
The birch. The leaves have a diuretic effect and facilitate the elimination of uric acid and cholesterol from the body.
Mallow: emollient, maturing, airway conditioner, and mild laxative.
Dandelion is a diuretic and regulates bile secretion, thus speeding up digestion.
Senna represents the leaves and/or fruits of the plants of the species Cassia Angustifolia and Cassia acutifolia, legumes originating from Africa. It stimulates intestinal motility, especially that of the large intestine, and decreases the absorption of water and electrolytes.
The shock. Elderflower tea causes intense sweating, weight loss and helps eliminate toxins. It is used as an adjunct in the treatment of influenza, bronchitis, or viruses. In addition, the shock inhibits the feeling of hunger and gets rid of cellulite.
Three-spotted brothers, the plant is also known as the emperor's beard, is, in fact, a relative of the pansy country, of the Violaceae family. It has diuretic and expectorant properties. It has purifying, antiallergic, and slightly laxative activity.
Nettle: basic cleanser, diuretic with massive elimination of uric acid, expectorant and antitussive, antidiabetic, astringent, general tonic, hair tonic, and healing. It compensates for the lack of iron in the diet, preventing iron deficiency anemia.
Bindweed., also called swallow dress, has laxative, and choleretic properties, increasing the amount of secreted bile and stimulating the contractions of the gallbladder.
Ways to make tea
There are two basic ways: infusion and decoction.
The infusion is the most used way to make tea. For a cup of tea, pour 250 ml of hot water, at 100 - 80 ° C, over a quantity of dried plant, usually a teaspoon (if not already dosed in sachets). Leave the dish covered for 15 to 20 minutes, and then strain it.
A decoction is a tea made by boiling. Boil the woody parts of the plants: the roots and stems. In our case, crust bark. It should boil for up to 30 minutes.
Methods of administration
In order to achieve their goals, teas are drunk at certain times of the day, depending on the specific action of each.
Purifying teas are taken on an empty stomach, so before meals.
Laxative teas are drunk after meals. Preferably in the evening, because their effect is not instantaneous but requires 6-8 hours of processing. In this way, they act during the night and the effect will occur in the morning, on waking, leaving the intestinal tract light and relaxed.
Diuretic teas are NOT drunk in the evening, because they act quite quickly and will not let us sleep peacefully.
Teas with a tonic, revitalizing, energizing effect - especially ginseng - are NOT drunk in the evening, because they will cause us agitation and insomnia.
The teas with a calming, sedative effect will be drunk in the evening, because, drunk in the morning, they will demobilize us for a good part of the day.
The recommended amounts vary between one and three cups a day. If the tea is drunk before meals or after each meal, there will be three cups. If it is a soothing tea that is drunk before bed, it will be just a cup. It is good to start any cure with a cup, to observe the effect, and to catch a possible intolerance.
The duration of the cure can vary between three weeks and three months, with breaks of one week, up to one month. We adapt according to the effect that tea has on our bodies.
Crusin is particularly active, which is why the recommended strap life is minimal. We could even combine two types of tea in the cure so that we drink buckwheat tea only twice a week.
In weight loss, the teas are drunk unsweetened. They are not sweetened with honey, because it is also called sweetening. Do not sweeten with aspartame - E 951 because it is very harmful.
The tea is drunk warm, at about body temperature. Do not drink hot because it attacks the digestive tract, from the mouth to the stomach.
Not cold, from the fridge, for the same reason. However, tea should be drunk shortly after brewing, before losing certain volatile components. Slimming teas are not recommended during pregnancy and lactation!
