There Is Nothing Like A Long Drive Alone
On a daily, I take an Uber back and forth to campus. Although, it would be better if I had my car. Still, I make the most of what I can afford now. Uber drives are fairly enjoyable, especially with drivers who follow these characteristics if you have social anxiety, are an introvert, or prefer a peaceful drive: doesn't talk at all and understands the instructions. When drivers don't speak aside from "Hello" and "Enjoy your day", I can live in my head for the moment as my favorite song plays in the background from my headphone speakers. The only downside is that I have to keep the volume significantly low if the driver has inquiries about the dropoff location or takes a detour. When the Uber driver understands the assignment, it makes the drive ten times enjoyable.

The Long Walk
The Long Walk... So we eventually get on the T5 Bus to Cardigan, some of the team have a bit of a doze. The weather is quite hot, around 26 Deg C. and I must admit that during the first part of the walk to New Quay, Ray's Chilli oil from last night was having a detrimental affect in the nether region, add to that every Gentleman walker's nightmare, chafed inner thighs - commonly referred to as Betty Swollox in the Officer's Mess, so that said, I wasnt particularly looking forward to the next leg. We get off the bus in the town centre and the first thing we do is try to find a shop to stock up on "provisions" for the evening ahead. Ray & Ian went for the sensible route of buying 2 cans of cider each. Grant goes for the 8 cans of Redstripe and I went for 4 cans of Redstripe & a bottle of Vino Collapso. This in retrospect was a big mistake on mine & Grant's behalf as it just added to the weight of the already heavy rucksacks. I was then in need of Sudocrem for the above mentioned ailments and managed to find them at the local chemist. Once again it was then decided to find a pub.

But Chinese people have a bad habit, they like to leave some notes on the site, proving them have been here before. Most of the tourist sites are part of our country’s historical relics, these sites are priceless, it is everyone’s duty to protect the sites. When we go to travel, we should behave ourselves. Second, no any notes being written in the sites. Though in the old days, Chinese workers like to leave their names on the sites, but now it is a new world, we need to behave ourselves.
