What is love?
Honestly I kind of think asking what love is, is a really loaded question. It’s an unquantifiable emotion felt everywhere, everyday. Someone once told me that where there is life, there is love. I think the best place to start is by acknowledging that love is so much more than just romance. Love is found through our family, friends, pets, and even through our passions. We have all experienced at least one kind of love in our lives. To think otherwise is naive. Through loving we are able to find happiness, bliss, and a sense of purpose.

Motivation and Achieving Goals; But What's The Cost?
When considering motivation, is efficacy the best metric to use to judge/compare them? Can there be effective and powerful motivators that are dangerous, destructive, or chaotic? And how do emotions help (or hinder?) us in attaining a better understanding of this conundrum?

Can Netflix Do A Good Historical Fiction Adaptation?
At the beginning of this month Netflix released the sequel to one of my favourite movies of 2020, Enola Holmes, cleverly titled Enola Holmes 2. And there seems to be a thing about the second movie in any series that just makes it the best one (I'm not sure what it is but if someone knows please share the secrets).

Isn't It Bromantic?
Summer is the perfect time to kick back and relax with a good book. For me, summer reading has a different feel to it than winter reading. During the winter, I find myself getting cozy with a thrilling adventure or shocking mystery, but during the summer I want to sit by the pool with a nice steamy romance or daring drama. Beach reads, a popular subgenre of books designed to capture the ease of the summer spirit, are often a section of the bookstore that I overlook, but there was something about this book that caught my eye.

Corrupt Workplace
When I first joined Vocal, one of the top stories was a story about how workplace discrimination does not take place. As I was at the time employed at a place that broke that rule yet denies any wrongdoing I could not speak about it. I like many people in Alberta struggled to find work with the onset of the pandemic. Worse yet is I suffer Schizophrenia, Complex PTSD, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Most places of employment dislike hiring people with disabilities due to occurrences that happen. Walmart Canada ultimately did employ me in May 2020. Two months ago I had to leave because the toxic work culture and discrimination was too overwhelming.

What Are the Most Significant Distinctions Between the Healthcare Systems in the United States and Argentina?
The primary distinction between the healthcare systems of the United States and Argentina is that in the United States, individuals pay for their own health care through their employers, while in Argentina, the majority of the responsibility for paying for health care falls on the shoulders of the government. In addition, on average, Americans have access to more comprehensive coverage than Argentines do, and they are free to see specialists without having to worry about the associated costs. In conclusion, despite the fact that both of these healthcare systems have their drawbacks, the American healthcare system appears to be superior in some ways.

Here is Christianity at its core: (This is regardless of how people want to subjectively interpret these texts to fit their own comfort and lifestyle. It’s also regardless of any past experiences with “Christians” that were less than ideal or off-putting.)

A Baby Cries
A baby is crying, but not one person can hear the cries. There is one who hears the sound and at first becomes curious, then terrified, then angry as hell. Fire shoots and pours out of his mouth like lava erupting from a volcano. This is not a metaphor, literal fire bursts and liquid magma blazes from his mouth as his eyes turn red with rage built up for an eternity of suppressed anger. You might find this hard to believe until you understand this one is a mighty dragon of old. He is the last of his kind. He is the last of all kinds. He has been on this planet, alone, for what can only be described as an eternity. He’s been here so long, lost in meditation since his last meal, that was eons ago. And it was a great feast of many.
