Marriage is not so much a word as it is a sentence–a life sentence.
Why Do Black Women Consent to be Side-Chicks?
You know them. You may even hate them. Better yet, you probably are one or used to be one. Side-chicks, mistresses, and the other woman have become rather relevant in our black communities. There is not too much of a difference between the three terminologies associated with the woman who is with a taken or married man. Being Married to Someone on the Autism Spectrum
My husband was recently diagnosed as having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At first, I was immensely relieved by his diagnosis – we both were. For all the major miscommunications and resultant disagreements we’d had that led us to an assessment, we had started to think that either he had to be wired a bit differently or of late, we were both more irrational in each other’s company than Donald Trump is...in general. After our initial ‘aha!’ moment had passed, I began writing to various Autism support organizations thinking that surely, they’d be able to guide us in forging a way forward despite our utterly different approaches to life.

No Hate
So, I randomly clicked on a video on YouTube. It was a proposal video. A woman proposing to her longtime girlfriend. It was very sweet and very beautiful. Then I started to read the comments on the video and felt really disgusted by what these people said. I can't believe how close minded some people are. Those words hurt me a lot. I saw words like faggot, and dykes. One person even said, "We need more gas chambers."

Matrimonial Machinations "If you had listened to me, we would have been here on time!" Lena snapped as she struggled to adjust the sash on her coral sundress. Edward freely exercised his right to remain silent. Thirteen years of marriage had produced four wonderful children, along with enough arguments to last a lifetime. He knew that they had a snowball's chance in hell of winning $200,000 on the latest reality show, Love and Marriage, but it was worth a shot. Edward could only hope that the other couples would make them look like the Ozzie and Harriet viewers were looking for.

So what with all the drama circulating the 'Net these days about "this person is a cheater and a liar" and "that person has six kids with ten different people", it's nice to be able to tell a story that basically encompasses your general American family dream: a loving stable marriage or relationship and 2.3 kids (in my case, three.) So today, I'd like to share with you my relationship and how everything came to be.

On a Friday evening in May, Charles Prideaux and his brother in law Jules Martin went to the Palais Garnier to see the Paris Opera Ballet perform Sleeping Beauty. When the two men arrived in their box, Tchaikovsky’s introduction to the prologue was beginning to play.
