Don't expect to bounce back to your pre-pregnancy weight overnight or even in a few weeks. Your body has gone through a lot of changes and needs time to heal and adjust. According to the Mayo Clinic, it may take six months or more to return to your pre-pregnancy weight, depending on how much you gained during pregnancy and how active you were before and after delivery.
