7 Things I Want You to Know
1. This I Promise You I know your past hasn’t been the sunniest and that, for long periods of your life, it was just raining hell on earth and thundering the earth to its core, but here I stand, looking you eye to eye, saying I’ll do everything I can to make sure your present and your future, and even after I run up the staircase to heaven, I’ll still be right there looking and smiling at the most perfect paradise. I promise you.

Love
What is love? This question has been asked many times throughout our lives here on Earth. The meaning of love, the meaning of life, the meaning of living on this Earth are all questions with unique answers. Some would pick answers that go towards a technical view on the topic, while others would pick an answer that would be unique towards that person. Love, in the dictionary, states an intense feeling of deep affection. The definition is quite vague compared to what other people say about it, creating your own definition of love, creating scenarios that signify love in its strongest form. The definition of love goes farther than what the eye can see. With different perspectives on what the definition of love is, love is truly a universal definition all on its own.

I Don't Believe in Soulmates
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I don't believe in soulmates. As far back as I can remember, I never thought soulmates were a real thing. It's something you see in the movies, or read about in books. It's a work of fiction. Why? Because to me, it's a really depressing concept. The idea of soulmates was first spoken of very early on by Plato. Then in the early 1800's, poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, wrote in A Letter to a Young Lady, “To be happy in Married Life... You must have a soul-mate.” Thus introducing the concept to the masses.

3,397 Miles
If someone told me three years ago, that my life was about to be turned upside down, that I'd be happily married to a man that was sat, waiting for me to enter his life through a chatroom of all places, 3,397 miles away from here, I'd be on my back laughing hysterically at them.

Is It the Start or the End?
What is love? Some people ask me. Meanwhile, I ask myself, what is love? I ask myself, do I know what love is? I don’t know what love is. I have seen what people claim to be love. Are they asking me because I’m cold? Are they asking me because I have not dated someone? I have experienced an unrequited love; the type of love I don’t recommend. Could it be that they ask me because an unrequited love is not love? Are they asking me because it is the type of love that only one person experiences? Maybe I've been thinking too much, but I can tell them my love was painful.

The Different Tie
Working in retail is hard. Long hours and being underpaid is just the start. I make it through every day with the smell of black coffee and men’s deodorant. I've kept it under control for six months now, as it is heightening at a point where I feel as if he is letting me in his brass gates of his dysfunctional mind. I hold back. I am into my boss. It wouldn't be so complicated if there wasn't a huge challenge. He is twenty-two years older than me.

A Prom Story
Everyone knows that the pinnacle of the high school experience usually revolves around prom. Apparently, people put so much effort and thought into it in order to make it just like the movies. I don't think that many people realize that the movies are just a very fictional version of reality. Prom isn't this big party where everyone drinks and has fun dancing the night away. However, it is a giant overrated dance where people spend way too much money, more than they should. Some people, like me, never would have thought about even going to prom. But I did. Twice.

She Is the Sun, I Am the Moon
Do you like roller coasters? They are exhilarating, yet frightening. With all the tight turns, steep slopes, twists, and loops, it can be overwhelming. Being a girl like this, is like riding the fastest, fiercest roller coaster. A roller coaster of emotions, pretending, and sometimes not feeling good enough.
