love
All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
Love? LOL!
I’m starting to really wonder if I am capable of being loved, or thought of as someone who is more than someone to take advantage of. My faith in people, or should I say, people who say they love me is beyond being tested. I am not really sure how the hell I feel about anyone anymore. Defeated is the correct word for my feelings and my spirit at this point.

To My Next Boyfriend
To my next boyfriend, Hi. I'm Jessamine, but you can call me Jess. As my zodiac sign I'm a libra. I'm down to earth and I'm kind of a hopeless romantic. I love anything artistic and I have a small obsession with quartz crystals. Im introverted, but once you get to know me you'll notice I become confident and outgoing. I aim high with my goals in life and I don't give up easily so if you take the time to get to know me, with due time you'll see I'm very determined with anything I set my mind to. I love coffee shops and binge watching movies while I lay my head upon your chest close enough to hear your heart beat. I overthink sometimes and it leads me to asking questions and Idon't want you to think I'm trying to argue because I truly just want a better understanding. Besides overthinking I also over love, and thats one of my biggest weaknesses so I ask that you don't take me for granted just like Idon't take you for granted.

It’s a Love Story I Never Thought I’d Be Living
When we were kids, life was difficult for both of us. Oddly enough, we both thought about death. Things going on in our lives were difficult for us to manage, and being teens just made it harder. A chance meeting and everything changed for us. I was working a summer job at the library, and he just moved there. Where I worked at and where he lived was within walking distance. He needed to use the computer and I was at the front desk to offer assistance.

A Folder Called 'A Promise'
There is a folder on my computer that I dreaded opening. I avoided eye contact with it like one does when you see an old acquaintance at the grocery store, and take great strides to steer clear of them, acting as if you were too preoccupied reading the ingredients on the box of macaroni shells to pay them any attention. Or how one refrains from verifying the available balance in your checking account after a frivolous weekend.

The Purple Box (Ch. 1)
I got up early the morning of August 2nd, 2014. Far earlier than normal. I immediately got out of bed and got dressed. I felt the need to grab my camera and take pictures of the inside and outside of the house before I set off for my new life in Indiana. I found myself documenting every nook and cranny of the house, as it was on the day I would leave. Inside every room, every hallway, out in the garage, and then every angle of the exterior and yard outside.

Love, Love, Love
It’s hard to fathom that there was once a time where a man would sweep a woman off her feet. He would wait to call her, open doors for her, take care of her. He would court her, spending hours planning, talking, dedicating to her. He would think of her as he’s out with his friends, sitting bored at work, or even going for a run. There once was a time where chivalry was the norm.
