Whether written centuries ago or just last year, literary couples show that love is timeless.
Aren't we all a little Bukowski?
The life of a modern story writer is a complex and often tumultuous one, marked by both triumph and defeat. Like the great Charles Bukowski, these writers pour their hearts and souls into their craft, weaving tales of love, loss, and the human condition with a raw, unapologetic style. But while the end result may be beautiful, the journey to get there is often filled with rejection, self-doubt, and long, lonely nights spent pounding away at the keyboard.

Something woke me from my slumber; a sound in the room I did not expect, but a glance around told me nothing was there. This did not ease my tension, and I shifted again, the blankets falling away to reveal tattooed, tanned, naked flesh.

Outcast Island
It was that time of year again. The festival of the gods. All the Islands celebrated it. Every year the celebrations and the sacrifices were different. Every 5th year, the 'outcast gods' had to be appeased. Those who lost the draw, were rowed ceremoniously to the farthest and smallest of the islands, abandoned until death by starvation removed them from further misery in the world.
