When High-Fliers Fall: The Importance of Staying Grounded In the journey of life, every individual aspires to achieve greatness. Success, fame, and reaching new heights are universal ambitions. Yet, in this relentless pursuit, many people lose their connection to the very foundation that supports them. How to Shift Your Mindset and Stop Fear of the Evil Eye
Recently, there has been much banter and controversy on social networks over this concept called Evil Eye, as if this thing exists and that some people's bad vibes or bad wishes have so much to do with our lives. Without much empirical research or scientific evidence being put forward on its basis, opinions widely vary on this aspect of life. I believe that the concept of the evil eye is based on cultural and superstitious thinking, that is, those who feel envious of your success or inner light may wish you harm or cast curses, which can eventually bring about misfortune or a decline in the blessings already in your life.

He played for four different teams: the aforementioned Braves, the Cleveland Indians (now Guardians), Texas Rangers, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays (now known as simply the Tampa Bay Rays).

Why "Public Displays of Affection" are so annoying
If you're a barfly or a thespian like me, then you've probably witnessed all kinds of "public displays of affection" (aka PDA) which includes handshakes, hugs, kissing, nursing babies, and sometimes even dancing. These are all forms of physicality sharing love. So why is it that sometimes when we witness it, we are not feeling giddy and happy and joyous? Is jealousy in the way? Am I upset that the only couple in the bar who are holding hands and kissing is making me feel awkward because no one is doing that with me? Are you upset that a mother pulls out her breast and starts feeding her baby because you don't have a baby? Is the "green-eyed monster" (aka jealousy) making us feel awkward about witnessing PDA or is it "inappropriate" as some will say?
