humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
What to know and expect before coming forward - from personal experience
Hi. My name is Breanna and I am a 19 year old girl who came forward about sexual assault at 17 years old, and I thrive by advocating for all other victims out there too. I've had three different people take advantage of me, all at different times of my life, and two of them being family members. At the end of 2021 I came forward TO my family about the two family members, and I ended up getting myself and my mother kicked out of our tiny basement, so that my assaulter could move into there because by coming forward, I ruined his life.

Harlem Renaissance
The quest for equality and freedom for African Americans has been fought on many fronts. But there is no question that in the area of the arts, the contribution of black America has been so profound that it has greatly eased racial tensions and changed the image of black culture profoundly in the eyes of all Americans. Many have criticized the world of such black performers as Richard Prior, Bill Cosby and Eddie Murphy but these artists along with artists in literature, painting, poetry, music and all the arts have brought an acceptance of black culture that has furthered the appreciation of African Americans by all people more than anything else ever could do.

How dirty is your smartphone?
How dirty is your smartphone? As the owner of a console-based arcade business in Queens Village, New York, known as GameStation, we are no strangers to sanitizing and disinfecting our controllers, systems, chairs, seats, and virtual reality headsets. In fact, we began disinfecting and sanitizing our facility well before COVID requirements. We did this because we understand how germs are transmitted. We recognize that children generally rebel against washing their hands if they don’t see the necessity thus allowing germs and bacteria to rule their lives.

Space Admiral of Nothing
There were three cartoons I was more or less allowed to watch once I finally made it home from school. More often than not I missed at least one of them, as the trek home from San Francisco to Berkeley, as a sixth grader, alone, on public transit, was grueling and lengthy. I tended to miss G.I. Joe, and rarely minded. Jingoistic conditioning rankled me even then. And while I did enjoy the transformers, I didn't mind arriving home too late to catch more than the last few minutes of an episode. I was only ever sad when I missed the horribly abused (I didn't know it at the time) Macross series that those of us here in the U.S. had to take in as Robotech.

Human first
So something happened and it has been eating me from inside. It was not a great day so my husband and I decided to go out and go shopping. We went to this big store just like many stores in the US. I had a list of things I wanted to find, so we went from aisle to aisle searching for them. Sometimes we would even go to random aisles. In between my husband stopped as he got a message on his phone and I was actually losing patience and asked him to come along so that we keep moving. In the middle of the store, as we were entering another aisle section, a black man came rushing towards us. He was already saying something like "you doing hand signs at me, come here you little f*****, huh, huh, huh" and then he suddenly pushed my husband against the aisle. As I was behind, I couldn't believe what just happened to my husband. The man continued, "you little Indian motherf****** you are doing some weird hand signs at me". All of it happened so fast but I could not digest the fact that someone did something to my husband. I had the shopping cart with me and I used it to create a barrier between him and us without the cart touching him. I blurted "what the hell are you doing?" and "we did not do anything" while he was shoving my husband onto the aisle. To which he replied, "shut the hell up b**** I will f*** you up too" and walked away from us and the shopping cart. There were other bystanders who witnessed the "show", they were black too. I wonder what was going on in their mind-- whether to help us or take the side of the man who was harassing us. As the man walked away, he continued saying things like, "you are not special, you Indian motherf*******, you are not black." We said nothing after that and continued shopping in the next aisle and he was nearby. He was still verbally abusing us. We did not flee as we did not do anything wrong. Then another shopper at the store complained and called security. The security guys asked us if he was screaming at us. Not only was he screaming he actually got physical and used bad language. My husband stayed calm throughout and did not say a word. He was the smart one in the situation. I just could not see my most loved one being attacked like that.

SUV crashes into Apple store in Massachusetts; 1 dead, 16 injured
Police were researching however didn't promptly say whether the accident was accepted to be incidental. Hingham police Boss David Jones would agree that main that it was a functioning examination. The driver of the vehicle was being consulted.

Carbon Footprint Consultancy : Agile Advisors
Carbon Footprints As corporations maintain their desire to save operational expenses and contribute to environmental protection, the need for enhanced energy efficiency and carbon emission reduction grows. The total greenhouse gas emissions that a person, group, occasion, or product is responsible for, both directly and indirectly, are measured by carbon footprint. An individual's carbon footprint is calculated in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e). A carbon footprint takes into account all six greenhouse gases included in the Kyoto Protocol: Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), Perfluorocarbons (PFCs), Nitrous oxide (N2O), Sulfur Hexafluoride, Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Methane (CH4), and (SF6)

My Bad Christmas: A Holiday Gathering Gone Wrong
It all started with the tree We had a small tree that we decorated with the traditional ornaments- a candy cane, an angel, and some tinsel. It was our first tree in years, and it was going to be just like old times. We all gathered around the tree on Christmas Eve night and lit the candles on it. I remember thinking how lovely everything looked as we watched the lights flicker off of each ornament in turn.
