IVF and Surrogacy: Law and Ethics for a New Generation
Surrogate pregnancy is not only fascinating, but also one of the most complex procedures in human reproduction. It is a practice that many individuals are not familiar with and is largely misunderstood by a large number of people. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and surrogacy are two of the most controversial fertility treatments available today. While IVF is legal in most countries, surrogacy is often regulated or outright banned. The ethical and legal issues surrounding these two procedures are complex and sensitive, and there is no easy answer as to whether or not they should be allowed.

A Little Late Is Better
The morning surges on, and the afternoon drags through until the sun gives in and the moon says its most ignored "hello." So many of us forget to look up, every day, in awe of how lovely this routine built around us is. We are consumed by our mundane struggles and schedules. Constantly gasping for air in panic and driven by stress, because of what value are we're if not overworked and malnourished?

Who is Really in Control?
Who is really in control? Some might say, 'the rich' are in control. Some might say governments. Some might say the public. Others might say the government is an institution that embodies the will of the public, with access to an exorbitant amount of funds (sometimes even infinite spending). Well, let's explore this concept a bit further to see who is truly in control, and regardless of reality, how you can not only attain power, but maintain all power you have currently, and ever will have.

That summer
That year you were twenty-five, I was twenty-four. That summer, the moon was so much and so bright. The two of us walked slowly in the moonlight, talking about our sweet love, and the people in the street were in such a flurry that we didn't see them.

The cottage
When you open the door, there is a dark red sofa against the wall on the left-hand side, next to the sofa is a bed placed horizontally, the back of the bed is white, and the quilt and children's clothes are neatly folded at the head of the bed. Next to the bedside table is a dark red table also placed horizontally, the table is also horizontal against the back wall. To the left of the head of the table is a window with my books on the sill and a telephone line coming in through the window, with the red telephone on the table. To the right of the table were two one-meter wide closets, dark red, in which our clothes and quilts were kept, and the cabinets were squeezed into the right wall. Next to the cabinets, at the end of the bed by the aisle more than ten centimeters against the right wall, was a low cabinet, the same color as the closet, on which was placed the TV, covered with a rose-red cloth. To the right of the cabinet is squeezed the washing machine, light blue. To the right of the cabinet is the same low cabinet with the casework on it. To the right of the cabinet is the old cupboard, bright yellow, with dishes inside. Next to the cabinet is the corner of the right wall and the front wall, and along the front wall is placed the gas stove.

Thinking of my father
My father left last year. These days my father's voice and smile have been haunting my mind, appearing in front of my eyes, as if his old man had never left, the early morning of the second day of the Lunar New Year dreamed that my father was snuggled up next to me, perhaps he knew I was going back home to see him that day, but in reality, I know my dear father has left me forever ......

No Participation Trophies Awarded!
In today’s tumultuous world, it’s no surprise there is a greater disconnect among generations than in any other period of history. One probable reason for the animosity between age group is that people are living longer. The older generation, in this case Boomers, have increased the average life span from late fifties and mid-sixties to the mid-seventies through early eighties. Gen-Y or Millennials have an excellent shot at making it to one hundred.
