It's been a bit over 3 months since I got a call from my mother-in-law telling me the love of my life, my husband Andrew, was in a motorcycle crash and he was heading to the hospital in critical condition. That one phone call changed my life forever. Andrew didn't make it. His heart stopped and I don't know why this part gets me the most. It's not his head, it's not the broken bones or bleeding. It's his heart that gave up. Even now when technically I should be more logical about the whole thing, I question whether his heart stopped because it gave up on me.
