Tales From a Survivor of the 'Friend Zone'
The dreaded f-word... 'Friend zone'. Many males appear to living in this state of having feelings for a friend, yet never vocalizing these sentiments, so they never become anything more. I've seen many memes and pictures of men doing nice things for women and it being labeled as a description of the 'friend zone'. I'm not sure how I feel about the 'friend zone' since technically I lived in the 'friend zone' for about 2 years. WHAT?! A woman living in the friend zone? How can this be? Didn't only guys live in the 'friend zone'?

What I Learned from Them
We've had relationships and some were great while they last and others were not so great. Some we love to remember while others we regret and wished they'd be push to the back of our mine. Though each relationship was different, there is one thing in common that they all had: they taught us something.

Worst Flirting Moves Men Make (And What Works Better)
If there's one thing that every girl (or girl-looking person) has experienced, it's the cringe, embarrassment, and discomfort that happens when someone tries to put the moves on you — and fails miserably. At times, it can be funny, but usually, it's somewhat scary.

How I Ended Up in a Long Distance Relationship
It is true when they say the most unexpected but most amazing things can happen when you least expect it. Relationships have never been my thing and I have never been in one before, due to my fear of commitment. The thought of being tied down always scared me, so I was in a series of “we-almost-dated-but-didn’t” type of relationships. It would go like this: guy shows interest in me, I show interest in guy, we start talking, guy tries to get serious, I lose interest, become distant and slowly take myself out of the equation altogether. I know, the entire thing sounds super cliché, but that’s how it always went. But as I got to know my current boyfriend even more, everything I thought I believed in completely changed.

Signs a Shy Guy Likes You
When it comes to shy guys, it's actually pretty hard to tell if they like you or not, because they're just so quiet! They're not like most guys who are very outgoing, loud, and straightforward if they like someone. But I have to admit, shy guys are pretty cute. You can just tell how innocent and caring they are... not so much innocent (sometimes), but they certainly do care for those they love. Even though they don't say much, they hold so many thoughts and secrets that you would never believe. After talking to a shy guy for a while, you might leave thinking he's actually not that shy.

Yenta and the Jewish Standard
I’m so old that I started blind dating before match.com existed. I’m not sure if blind dating is a verb but the other variations — blindly dating or dating blind — sounded worse. I used newspaper ads and a matchmaking service to try and meet my future husband. Even though I learned pretty quickly that describing oneself with brown hair and blue eyes in written form is no match for a photo, I kept doing it, hoping my wealthy, good looking, funny, preferably Jewish prince would appear.

Getting Back into the Dating Scene After a 12-Year Relationship
A relationship can be like a beautiful plate, like the one pictured, but they can be the complete opposite. I was in a marriage that was a bit of both. Sure, it started out great, but things went wrong down the road, and we have had it bad for the last four years.

Family Love Crazy
My family is crazy, the normal family kind of crazy. My family has certain views on how I should run my life. It’s always do this and do that. They have a certain type of guy I should date. I’m currently dating a guy that they go back and forth on. Here is a list of what they want:
