Until now, science has not been able to explain the phenomenon of levitation because it completely goes against the law of universal gravitation. Many ancient documents of the East and the West have recorded quite meticulously about the ability of humans to fly without any help. Is that levitation technique real or just a magic trick?

What is lightness?

Levitation is the technique of flying through the air without assistance, completely contrary to Newton's law of universal gravitation. Religious books record 300 saints who could levitate.

The longest recorded hover was by Joseph Cupertino in the 17th century.

The first recorded levitation was performed by Simon Magus in the 1st century. He was a heretical priest who practiced many "black magic" such as invisibility and levitation. The person who performed the longest levitation was Joseph Cupertino in the 17th century. This Protestant priest hovered in the air for about 2 hours.

Other religions such as Hinduism, Brahmanism and Buddhism also recorded many cases of lightness. In the book “Occult Science in Ancient India” , author Louis Jacollios (France) recorded quite detailed lightness phases.

The most famous was Milarepa , a leading yogi in Tibet in the 19th century. He was said to have possessed such mystical powers that he could walk, eat, and sleep while floating in the air. Not only were ascetics in India able to perform this feat, but so were ninjas in Japan.

A lower level of qinggong is qingxing (extremely fast walking) , which is quite popular in areas with complex terrain in China and Japan. Practitioners of qingxing can travel very quickly and safely in rugged mountainous areas, using the techniques of le than (jumping), shen han (running hundreds of miles without touching the ground), bi hu du tuong (climbing a wall with a lizard), and shui thuong phieu (running on water).

The martial arts techniques, no matter where they are performed, have one thing in common: they use a technique to reduce or eliminate the effects of gravity . Speaking of this, we need to mention a physical concept called apparent weight. It characterizes the force of an object pressing against the floor or the tension of a spring that represents the weight of an object. It is apparent weight that creates the feeling of lightness or heaviness of the body. When there is no feeling of apparent weight (falling from a height without a floor to support it), we will fall into a state of weightlessness.

Magician David Copperfield has amazed millions with his levitation act. To this day, no one has found any flaws in his act.

Until now, science has no way to explain the phenomenon of lightness (if it exists) because it completely goes against the law of universal gravitation.

It is impossible to prove, at least theoretically, how a person can escape the influence of the earth's gravity under normal conditions simply by breathing, hypnosis to mobilize supernatural energy. Opponents have argued that from ancient times until now, it is just a magic trick to deceive the viewer's eyes.

Some recent scientific experiments show more positive trends. For example, Russian scientists have tested in a special environment (below minus 160 degrees Celsius), a disk when rotating at high speed, about 3,000 rpm under the influence of an electric field will lose weight. American scientists did another experiment: When placing a superconductor suspended in a magnetic field, they discovered that if an object is placed on the surface of the superconductor, its weight will decrease by 5%.

So, there is still a glimmer of hope for those who want to believe in special things, and at the same time, there is still a place for the con artists to show their skills. And is qinggong a special ability or just an illusory desire of mankind? This is still a secret.
