South Africans have lost their shit once again, I am really starting to become dishearted with the behavior of so many in Africa. From living in Ghana seeing the hatred that I wasn't exposed to in Kenya or in the United States.

The extreme colorism, once you see people who have bleached their skin, you can never unsee it. They look almost clear, the odd smell that most have is gut wrenching.

People screaming at me, calling me white, then arguing with me when I say I'm not white I'm Black. Ghana really was Hell. I've even met people that have extreme hatred for all Africans after moving to Ghana.

Much like this hatred that South Africans have in their hearts for anyone that isn't South African.

‘You hate black women’: EFF’s Naledi Chirwa defends Miss SA finalist Chidimma Adetshina, calls Gayton McKenzie a bigot

CHIDIMMA Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a Miss SA top 11 contestant has been subjected to xenophobic and Afrophobic attacks on social media.

Some members of Parliament have joined the chat to defend Adetshina following a video that has made the rounds on the internet with Adetshina celebrating with her Nigerian family.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) MP and delegate to the South African National Council of Provinces, Naledi Chirwa, took to X to break her silence and defend Adetshina, following the recent xenophobic attacks towards her.

Chirwa slammed Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie after he made a comment about Adetshina being in the pageantMcKenzie commented: “we truly cannot have Nigerians compete in our Miss SA competition. I wanna get all the facts before I comment but it gives funny vibes already”.

On Tuesday night, Chirwa took to X to reply to McKenzie’s comment.

“You are not “Patriotic” at all. You don’t know the South African Constitution. You don’t respect South African governance office at EXECUTIVE level.

“You don’t know South African history. You don’t know South African statistics on ANYTHING, not even your favourite subject,” she said.

Recently after creating my 4th TikTok account, I found my way onto diaspora wars TikTok. What does this look like? Well there are so many videos from African Americans, FBA (Fundamental Black Americans), Africans and Native Americans, all spewing hatred at one another.

I figure if I don't engage, mark most videos as not interested, don't comment or like, I think I can find my way out.

One angry Native American man is always on TikTok Live, he's usually cursing at his viewers, he also says, "you will not erase us!" Which I can't help but picture while men in khaki pants with tiki torches, saying these same words.

I've scrolled by his account several times, he is sort of wrong by the way, he proclaims African Americans are not Native to America. He then says you people are not Natives. Someone in the comments comment must have caught his attention, he changed that statement to include if they weren't members of a nation.

That was about as far as I wanted to get with that account, watching for a few moments was all I needed.

The there are the Black Brits, they are African immigrants who are 2nd or 3rd generation from African or Caribbean countries. For some reason they too have started attacking African Americans, insulting things such as calling us fake Black people, stupid, saying African Americans have no culture to mocking our foods.

Just for a run down, the FBA group proclaim themselves as Natives to America. They don't believe that slave ships even made it to the United States, they have a lot of odd rhetoric that I don't want to get into. Most have never seen a DNA test let alone taken one.

Then there are the South Africans, there are more of these accounts attacking Black Americans than I could ever imagine. Most started this hatred when several Black people from the US posted about how the word "colored" is offensive. This was some years ago, since then there are some South Africans that attack Black Americans when ever they get the chance.

This South African gem, seems to think all Black Americans are uneducated, she made a comment to me, "even the whites can tell you are Blacks when talking to you over the phone!"

She followed it up by saying because Black Americans don't know how to speak, she has no idea that Black Americans don't sound anything like white Americans. We all usually know when a person is Black or white over the phone.

She being a South African wouldn't know this, I mean why should she? Many Africans have told me that they can tell by an accent what country another African comes from. I on the other hand having lived in the US my entire life can't tell, one thing I can tell is if an African is a French speaker or not. Usually, again this isn't an exact science or anything.

Either way, I've decided that I'm going to write a long letter to the African Union, I don't expect them to give a damn but I'm going to write it any way. I think that these issues are important enough to warrant a letter.
