"My brows are scorched, my lips are blistered, and both my arms are pretty wrecked,” shared Wilson in a candid Instagram video, illustrating the extent of his injuries.

Slipknot's Sid Wilson is currently on the mend after sustaining severe burns.

The 47-year-old musician disclosed through a series of Instagram videos that he was hospitalized with "serious burns" following an unexpected bonfire "explosion" while working on his farm.

“Hello everyone, I had an explosion right in my face,” Wilson — who is married to Kelly Osbourne — said in a video uploaded on Friday, Aug. 23. “I’m okay. I’m going to be alright. But I did suffer some serious burns on my face and arms.”

In the video, he appeared with an oxygen tube while lying in a hospital bed, receiving medical care for his wounds. Throughout the footage, medical staff could be seen urging Wilson to sit up and breathe as they tended to his injuries and monitored his vitals.

“You can notice the phone shaking. That’s because I’m holding it, and I’m trembling. They’re performing extra X-rays to ensure I didn’t inhale any flames,” Wilson continued.

“You see I’m scorched over there,” he added, pointing to his cheek. “My brows are singed, my mouth is blistered, and both my arms are in pretty bad shape.”

Despite the ordeal, the rocker assured fans that he would be “alright” and expressed his determination to be back on tour, saying, “I don’t care what it takes, but I will see you all on tour.”

In a subsequent video shared hours later, Wilson appeared inside what seemed to be an ambulance, with bandages wrapped around his neck. He mentioned that he was being transferred “to another facility” equipped with better tools to treat his burns.

“You can see my lips took a pretty hard hit,” he said, showing his severely swollen lips compared to the earlier video. “The worst part is my arms. They’re going to shave my head, so say farewell to the long hair. It’s going away.”

“But everyone, I’m okay. I’m okay… I’m holding up pretty well,” he reassured fans, adding, “I’m in good hands. I just wanted to come on here and let everyone know that I’m okay. Obviously, if I’m here talking to you like this, it’s not too bad.”

He then addressed fans’ questions about the incident, explaining that the burns were not from “a show” but from a “bonfire” on his farm that still had some “leftover” flames. “I got a little whoosh — fire,” he elaborated, noting that he was “working on the farm” when it happened.

“I’ll be in L.A. — this isn’t going to stop me,” Wilson added, referencing his band’s upcoming sold-out performances in California on Sept. 13 and Sept. 14.

Slipknot also has shows scheduled in Oklahoma, Washington, and Indiana in the coming weeks. The band’s website has not indicated whether those shows will be rescheduled as Wilson recovers. Slipknot is currently slated to perform at the Rocklahoma event on Sept. 1.
