Sibling Pranks Gone Bad

This is Mr. Archer, an English lecturer at a university. Once, I was taking a class with some students. I asked them if there was anyone who could share a story that was horrible and worse ever happened in their life. One of my students, whose name was Rohan, took up his right hand and said that he was interested in telling the story of what had happened to him.

As he described it, it was the month of summer. Every night, he and his sisters listened to a radio program called Dark Time. One particular night, three of them were listening to an episode of the program, and at a certain time, two of his younger sisters told him they were going downstage to bring some sacks. But they had other intentions.

They wanted to make their elder brother scared by making him listen to episodes alone, so they locked the door outside while going downstairs.

While Rohan was listening to the story alone, he suddenly got a cracking sound from that episode, which made him scared. At the very moment, he wanted to leave that room, but he noticed that the door was locked from the outside, and he got scared and started crying in that locked room.

However, that night was terrifying and difficult for Rohan; nevertheless, he did not react against his sisters after getting of that situation. But he intended that he would take revenge however possible, and he started planning for a great opportunity to take revenge against his sisters.

Another night, he invited and arranged some food for his sisters to hear that radio program again. Initially, the sisters knew that he was going to take revenge, but he made them understand that he loved his sister so much and was not going to take revenge. When the program was started, three of them were listening very nicely.

After half an hour, Rohan said that he had gone to the toilet, and his sisters were focusing on the radio rather than him. As soon as he passes the door, he locks it smoothly from the outside so that his sisters don't understand that he locked it. After an hour, his sisters were talking to each other about why their elder brother was not coming. Is there anything wrong?

The youngest sister said I was getting scared of this radio program. Could you please call my brother? And when they started going downstairs, they found the door locked from the outside, and they began screaming loudly, but no one came that night to unlock them.

They were almost drying out by listening to that program alone in that dark room, and the youngest sister lost her senses.

Next morning, when the parents started searching for their daughters, Rohan said he looked them upstairs to take revenge. The parents replied with anger, Are you out of your mind? His father said, What the hell are you saying? They ran upstairs and found that two of them had lost their senses. Soon, their parents had taken them to the hospital, and Ruhan felt very sorry about what he did.

After hearing Rohans' story, everyone in the class felt awful. Some of them were surprised at how he could do that! Feeling the weight of his actions, Rohan realised the true extent of his revenge. Remorse flooded his heart as he witnessed the consequences of his deceit unfold.

The lesson of this story is that taking revenge can be hazardous sometimes, so be careful before taking revenge on anybody else, or rather, pardon them. Forgiveness can make the world happier in many circumstances.
