“Your life is a reflection of your thoughts. If you change your thinking, you change your life.”

-Brian Tracy

Hey everyone,

A while ago I created a printable Self-Love Guided Journal titled, "I Love Myself Just As I Am Today", available on Etsy. I worked super hard on it and I would love to share it with you all.

I have a few other pintables listed on Etsy, such as a Couple's Counselling Worksheet, Astrology Dice Cheat Sheet, and Positive Affirmations. I love to create and be creative and I love designing things on Canva.

I used to work heavily in advertising for a small business that used Canva and Adobe Photoshop so I have spent a great deal of time on the platform figuring things out for myself.

Here is a prompt from it that I would love to share with you guys.

______________________________________________

Write yourself a letter forgiving yourself for past mistakes.

Dear Chloe,

I forgive you.

I am writing this in hopes that maybe, just maybe, that you can forgive yourself. You carried so much guilt throughout your childhood that was not meant for you to be carrying. Set it down. Forgive yourself. It's okay.

I forgive you for thinking you were in the right with certain things when you really were not.

I forgive you for all the times you were not a good person. For the time you screamed at the girl on the bus when you were twelve years old. For the hurtful things you said that were not out of anger, but out of hurt.

I forgive you for not always making the right choices, and for sticking with the wrong ones for far too long.

I forgive you for being selfish when all we want to do is be kind and loving.

I forgive you for carrying the pain of other people, taking it on as your own. It's okay to listen, but sometimes the only person that can save them is truly themselves. You cannot save everybody.

I forgive you for the way you love people, hard and passionately. You love people with all your heart, and it hurts when they don't love us back in the ways that we need them too.

I forgive you for dropping out of high school. You made a dumb choice, but like a good counsellor told me, "You can come back from anything."

I forgive you for all the hurtful things you said out of anger. I forgive you for that because you were just a hurt little girl inside looking for love. You don't deserve to live with that regret for the rest of your life. Set that pain down, and apologize for your mistakes. It's up to the other person to forgive you and if they don't that is okay, just be able to forgive yourself.

Forgive yourself for not knowing everything about what it takes to be human. Be a life long learner and educate yourself when you're wrong.

Lastly, just love. Love without boundaries. Love to give. Love each other as our creator does. Just apologize when wrong, don't be selfish, and be kind to yourself- you're growing into a person you have never been before. Go easy on her.

Love,

Chloe
