I've been inspired by this challenge after readung few stories and I've decided to jot mine down too.

The following are 10 things that I love about myself:

1. Being The First Born

I come from a family of 5 where I am the first born and took responsibilty to help my late mother to support my late dad and my siblings. My dad was sick when I was in my primary school years and mum was our bread winner. I learnt responsibilty at an early age and sacrificed a lot of things like personal pleasures to stay focused in my education in order to get a degree, secure a good job and support my little ones.

It's been more than a decade now since my parents have passed on and my siblings are all married now with childred except one, and they still call me their mummy. I love them and their families so much.

2. I Am A Great Listener

I love listening more than talking and people find it easy to approach me. However, when I am busy, I can be cold. I'm sorry.

3. I Love Giving Directions

I am someone who doesn't like to dwell in negativity for too long. So whenever I encounter road blocks, issues, challenges, where I believe I have the solution or can direct people to those who can solve those problems, I give direction straight on. Many times I step on peoples toes. I'm sorry.

4. Leader

I am a Leader and I love it. Because of my love for people, I am able to work well with them, build teams and deliver results. I enjoy taking the lead, inspiring my teams and motivating them by celebrating our wins.

5. Caring

I am a caring person. I cry when I see people hurt. I go out of my way to help them. I can seek leave to nurse a patient who is so close to me. I can lay hands and pray for a hurting person in public and I could care less about who is watching me.

6. I Love The Word Of God

In my heart, I always have a place for God. I try my best to pray and study His Word and I always have the desire to do His will. I always fail but this doesn't stop me from pursuing Him because I know that He loves me.

7. Good Communicator

I am quiet but I can communicate well, via writing or verbal, with people at different levels, from a cleaner to a Member of Parliament.

8. I Respect People

I always have respect for people regardless of their age, gender or qualification. If I come across a person who has indepth knowledge about some things, I would always humble myself and learn from them. Or, whenever I cross paths with Leaders who are younger than me, I always support and encourage them.

9. I Am Beautiful (or at least I think I am)

I am always grateful to God for creating me and I always try my best to point everything about me back to the creator to draw more people to Him.

10. I Love Children

Little children are a blessing from God. He blessed me with one of my own and took her back a day later after she was born back in 2009. Since then He has opened my heart to look after more and the journey has been wonderful.

***********

Well, these are just some things about me that I think you should know so if I happen to cross paths with you, at least you can know and relate well with me.

Thank you so much for reading.

Very mature qualities you cultivate them over time. Powerful 🙏 Thankyou for sharing 🙏 your point 1 bring tears ..you like my big brother. We siblings have special appreciation and love for our elder who sacrificed for us. Without them we would be on the street 😢 May God continue to bless your life
