As the lady just sits to herself, wondering what to do next. She felt as though she has tried all that she can try, yet every time she does, she is rejected. Many nights of crying to herself, not knowing what to do. As she constantly prays. They say, “After the rain, then comes the sunshine.” Yet it has rained for so long she feels like she is in a timezone. Cycles, when do they end, The definition of a cycle is a series of events that are regularly repeated in the same order. Sometimes, not even in the same order but it still has the same ending.
Cloydella, a woman that has worked for the FBI for twelve years. Married to Governor Kenyon Stance. When they first met, there were nothing but sparks. They had only been married for two years. This would be Governor Kenyon Stance's second term serving as a Governor. Cloydella wanted so bad to show the excitement her husband had but their marriage was not the same. Cloydella would try her best to give Keynon hints, that he would refuse to open his eyes to see. Cloydella, could feel it coming to an end, but Kenyon swore up and down that nothing could tear them apart.
Actions. People don’t realize the things that they say or do can tarnish a person. Then when it is done on a constant basis, what do a normal human being expect. When Cloydella would always try to throw advances at her husband, he always turned her down and pushed her away. Whatever or whoever having to be on Kenyon’s timing because you know, that is what he is used to, as the governor gets treated with nothing but royalty, Cloydella believes that Kenyon thinks she is to bow down to him. Yet little does he understand that she feels as though she has bowed. She had taken so much from him in the past to where she shall not bow any longer. Her love is strong, but her heart is not. Cloydella realized that she started building that steel wall. The wall she was trying to prevent from growing. But it was just whenever she was treated a certain way for so long and the more the cycles continued, the more the steel was closing shut.
So one day Cloydella decided her time was up. The exact time Kenyon time was up as being governor. On that day Cloydella had packed her bags but Kenyon did not know that they were going on separate flights. When Kenyon turned to the left Cloydella turned to the right to get on a different flight but handed Kenyon a small black book. Keynon was confused, but he felt that if she went to these extremes, let him not make a scene in front of the paparazzi.
When Kenyon got on his flight he sat, asked for a glass of wine from the stuartist, opened the small black book, and began to read:
Dear My Loving Key,
You know I called you that because you held the key to my heart. HELD, a word, I never thought that I would ever say. You once showed me so much affection and love. Made love to me because you loved me. As the years went by, I started to feel as though you were not grateful for me. You have (excuse me) I mean had a woman that was there for you no matter what. A woman that tried to let you be the man, but at times you act like you weren’t happy with that. I have become tired. I can’t continue to act like the things that you do are ok with me. And I’m tired of this back and forth with you. You say you love but fail to submit when I’m in the mood. Why Kenyon? You told me you wanted us to grow old together but still don’t show the excitement of you wanting me. It’s like you have to build yourself up to want me. So, for that reason, we must go our separate ways. I love you and always will, yet I feel as though I have fallen out of love with you. I will be serving you divorce paperwork soon. I just could not let you know how I was feeling because you would try your best to turn the situation around on me. By the way, you will not have to worry about my well beings as I found $20,000 in the Governor's mansion that I believe someone hid but was never able to get back to it. I thank you for all the good days that we did have. I thought we were soulmates. Now you can live the infidelity life that you were already living without me. As of now, my Key has been lost, and my heart is nothing but steel. One day you may grow up and come find me. Yet as of now, Goodbye!
Love,
The Lock
While Kenyon closed the small black book, all he could think of is how upset he was that Cloydella found the $20,000 he stashed to use for the same reason. Kenyon didn’t realize that Cloydella was a scorned woman because he was more focused on everything and everyone else. Kenyon tore that Mansion apart looking for that money! He looked out of the window of the plane as it had not lifted off yet. He could see Cloydella in her plane looking at him looking as beautiful as the day he met her. She waved goodbye as her plane started to pull off.
