Reason First: A Fight Outside of a Restaurant Breaks Out!
Women scuffle after a meal
If you could combine chicken wings and fist fights into a business, you might have a billion-dollar success story on your hands. A scrap of women mostly, had a row outside of an eating establishment.
The way women grab each other’s hair, and do windmills to embarrass their opponents, actually fails and looks bad on them. In this semi free society known as the United States, we find ourselves at the tipping point of whether to hold decorum, or let loose the hounds of discord.
If there is anything more stimulating than seeing these individuals engaged in fisticuffs, it is doing it while sipping coffee and enjoying a sliced grapefruit. When these hoodboogers get tussling, it’s quite a sight to behold. The fact that we are able to use technology meant for the sophisticated and advanced crowds to consume such low-brow entertainment is telling.
We’re able to see just how important it is to place reason at the forefront of all our endeavors. To take into consideration the nation’s ever-high gas prices (among other goods and services) we can all grab our phones, tablets, and desktops and enjoy the foolish business.
These are the same people with high school diplomas and probably college degrees. All of that goes out the window when a crossed word or misplaced step enlivens the animal idealism to start throwing bows and knuckling up.
For all of the manners and home training to just dissipate, and the idea of claiming the unknown and unknowable as a provider, protector, and guide to flutter away, means you should love your enemy. Some people may say love not “like” so they evade the reality their opponent is not to be admired or adored.
This particular brawl happened because it is within the culture to feel you can do whatever you wish, just as long as you fall at the feet of the father. Even if you die before getting the chance to do so, clergymen will say your mortal soul is resting in a fantasy land away from all pain and fear.
These women may have the conviction of the Holy Spirit in their soul, but their bodies showed they’re concerned with just one thing: kill or be killed, attack be attacked. This vicious dichotomy of wishing to live while also thinking hatred and discontent lurks behind every corner.
The only way to combat such acts of unreason is to display reason. It is the one thing that separates the animal from humanity not found in other organisms. With every melee that occurs on this soil and elsewhere, it is important to remember we’re living in a world which still feels there is a scientific explanation for the Resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.
Fights will always be the go-to bit of free entertainment for the viewers across cyberspace. Once known as the information superhighway, these videos are the car wrecks strewn about the digital landscape. If we can just see to it no one is severely injured or killed, these battles will continue to pile up.
It is human nature to take in content like this; it is what drives us. We go back to our masters and doctoral degrees after having been thoroughly amused by the quagmires in which other people find themselves.
As Chris Rock once claimed, if it doesn’t involve the individual, then it’s perfectly okay to revel in the low-grade actions of others. If we’re supposed to advance as individuals, it is important to realize just how powerful the human mind is in making trash to treasure and pain into pleasure. It’s the American way.
