Actor Orlando Bloom Sprout was offered a little job in the 2013 film The Bling Ring, however, Orlando Bloom wouldn’t be a piece of the film as the story felt “excessively up close and personal.” Emma Watson and Katie Chang starred in the Sofia Coppola-directed film. Watson and Chang played a pair of nefarious teenagers. Because of her fascination with the crimes, Coppola made the decision to direct a film based on these real-life events.

“I thought how different it was from the point at which I was growing up perusing the story and figuring out they were youngsters. We did not have reality television, websites like those, or the internet. Additionally, the notion is that anyone can be famous and is famous. That entire mindset was so unique then,” she once said in a meeting with IndieWire. She was also fascinated by the psyches of the teens who committed these acts.

As celebrities who were affected by the robberies, Lindsay Lohan, Leslie Mann, and Paris Hilton appeared in the feature. A role in the film was also offered to Orlando Bloom, the star of Lord of the Rings. However, Bloom declined because she was a direct victim of the crimes depicted in The Bling Ring.

I’d love to collaborate with Sofia Coppola, who is a wonderful person. Bloom once stated to Hello Magazine (via Contact Music): “She asked me to come in the movie, but I said it was too close to home for me to want to be involved.” Bloom was against the film’s making in any case. To glorify something that upset so many people seemed odd to me. It’s vital to disengage from material things, however, the extraordinary, individual things I lost are difficult to neglect,” he said.

A collection of watches was one of Bloom’s more valuable possessions that were stolen during the robbery. Nonetheless, Blossom uncovered in a meeting with The Late Show that he was given a tip about an individual selling the watches he had lost. The seller, who turned out to be the owner of a pawn shop, provided the actor with information. Bloom would later confront the proprietor of the pawn shop regarding his stolen possessions.

I wired myself one day as I walked into his shop. Bloom stated, “I had a little microphone.” I contacted a private investigator! Furthermore, I got out, ‘Whatever do I do?’ Additionally, he advised, “Just acquire one of those little voice recorders.” Make use of one of these.’ And I thought, “Okay.” Bloom would go to the owner of the pawn shop. When the star appeared, the owner was more than a little alarmed.

Bloom stated, “I was like, ‘Listen, no police, but I’d like to get my watches back.'” He’s like, ‘I’ve needed to go around. I have to hurt some people.’ The whole story is there, and I said, “Well, let’s go! Let’s move! “I’ll rough up some people!”The proprietor would call Bloom back to retrieve his watches even after Bloom left the pawn shop.

A box is on the table in his office. He continued, “When I opened it, I just started to cry.” This market is so bizarre. For instance, how do you dispose of the various watches I had accumulated? It was extremely difficult. After I got them back, that was that. Additionally, he joked that a film about him locating his watches would have been superior to Coppola’s The Bling Ring.
