It is true when one says. communication is key where ever you go, wherever you be. Especially in our Country.
After several days and watching programs on television to social media ,it has come to my mind that what we lack most, is the ability to communicate.
As many have seen, from what I saw and felt from my side of the fence, was a peaceful rally. I saw people doing their best with the hopes it did not last as long as it did. I also saw the opportunity for it to settle differently than it did today. Yet there were amazing people on the ground.
From ground level and watching a camera on the events going on as compared to comments made on the media, wow can things get blown out of proportion.
I can see fear in the higher beings, with that big crowd and more across the country they represent. Also the unknown is rather scary. On the same hand could it have been peaceful if a few could sit with the government and discuss with agreeing it was okay to disagree or agree.
Well Just Writing That ,I Feel Silly
Can you imagine living in a land where everyone can get along or be at peace?
I compare this situation to marriage, communication is key and when the walls come down and you cannot, well the marriage usually falls apart. Then again counselling might help.
Things get out of hand, then they get out of control. Then who knows what.
Why I Write
I have written since the age of seven, published young, but it was the best coping tool of all.
Today that tool went into effect. Why?
If I could sit at a table and talk with those in charge ,this is what I would love to share. I know that a family loved one passed away to COVID, even if the individual death certificate stated complications to the lungs. He had a ventilator, only for it to be removed because he was older and there was a shortage.
The patient decided no more oxygen as their lungs shut down and it was the saddest thing to watch.
At this point and time, the word COVID never even existed in our Country. Then after I and other loved ones who cared for him, we all became ill and were diagnosed with - COVID.
Our immune system was affected and even after being vaccinated, again COVID. You couldn’t go anywhere, see your loved ones.
Worse your auto immune system was compromised. You had COVID, not once but twice and still feel like you are COVID.
Now my theory is, do I understand this, what really is to happen. At my age I wish I never had the vaccine, I wish the scientists did more research before I felt like another test tube in a lab.
The freedom of our country is gone, when I woke this morning and watched the updates in our Capital, I am heart broken. Actually I am beyond even knowing what to say, what to feel.
How does one trample over a woman with a walker, standing for freedom with a very large horse? Update, healing in the hospital.
Worst, I mean this from the bottom of my heart. Our veterans, who fought for our country, many injured while fighting. They fought for “Canada” , they went to war for us and now standing up for “Freedom”, tear-gassed, hit with sticks, pushed and shoved. How on earth can anyone ever do this?
In closing, the freedom to write, the freedom to have opinions, to research. To be proud of where you live, being proud of who you may have voted for. The freedom to be you.
Don’t let anyone ever stop you from hope or your beliefs. You are still the key to opening the doors to our future and our freedom. Canada Will Rise again. I believe it in my ❤️
