Niu Chengze rode all over the world

Director Niu Chengze sold his last jeep four years ago.
Big and small wrist children are eager to use a luxury car to show their position in the entertainment circle, no car Niu Chengze became a circle of outliers. Isn't a car on two wheels? Who says you need four wheels to drive all over Taiwan and all over the world?
Knob guide does not admit that he has no car, three baby bikes as cool!
For all adolescent boys, cycling seems to be a mature temptation, one that involves growth, freedom, independence and the limitless expansion of imagination.
Niu Chengze received his first bicycle from his father when he was in the third grade. Royal wind and the young, from the shuttle in the streets of Taipei city. Most Taiwanese teenagers ride bikes to prepare for the change to motorbikes in the future, but Niu Chengze admits: "Except in the rebellious period, since the age of 26, as long as the weather is fine and it doesn't rain, I will ride a bike on the road."
Cyclists know the beauty of a bike. It is obviously a passer-by of the surrounding scenery, but it is a natural pen in the scenery. He was soon not content just to drive around Taipei. Influenced by the cycling movie "Etudes," the young Niu set out on a bicycle tour of the island. Camping on the floor, seeing different scenery and meeting all kinds of people.
"Some things, if not done now, will never be done." Niu Chengze resonates with the movie's leading man: Cycling is addictive, and soon after the island roundabout, he begins planning an even more exciting trip to the Pacific, cycling from Yilan to Hualian along the Shunsuhua Highway in the northeastern corner of Taiwan.
One side is a mountain wall, the other side is a cliff, the road winding, dark cave, the cliff below the Pacific Ocean currents, speeding trucks are the biggest danger to cyclists. Niu Chengze, who has experienced all this, summed it up lightly: "When riding Suhua highway, there are many trucks, it is very exciting and hard, and then you will find that people living in the city are really too delicate and expensive."
He doesn't think he's a delicate person, but he can't handle the pressure of life easily all the time. Since becoming a director, his responsibilities and chores have increased so much that he can't think in a car that smells of gasoline. Instead, he can relax his mind by riding.
Before MONga began shooting, the Taiwan Information Bureau and other sectors had high hopes for him, hoping that he could create a high box office like Cape No. 7. France, a filmmaker's dream, became Mr. Niu's refuge. The exotic land is full of scenery, perfect for thinking on a bicycle. "Step by step, this action seems very simple, but often step by step to a lot of things through. When riding the bike that moment, the whole person movement, mind also follow clear, thoughts also become organized. Life is like riding a bike. No matter how difficult it is, you have to solve it step by step."
On top of that, Niu seems to have repeatedly promoted cycling in public and put extreme cycling in his films. In the film "The Way to Survive If You Have To", which he directed and starred in, Niu did not mind taking the action himself, trying to show off his cycling skills with the attitude of a hero against his fate. In 2011, Niu made a cameo appearance in the cycling movie "Turn the Mountain" as a friend of Shuhao's mentor -- a character who plays a crucial role in the drama despite his limited lines. During the promotion and recording of the film, he said to the audience with his own experience, "Riding is very calm, happy, happy, calm, no longer anxiety, no longer fear, and feel that your body is infinite. Cycling has always been a very, very important friend of mine, and 'Turn the Mountain' must be a rich journey, a baptism of life."
Now the bike has become an integral part of life. Riding around the world in it, the bike was not only his means of transportation, it was his companion, his close friend.
