The craze began a month ago on 24th June, when private pilot Kenneth Arnold claimed that he saw 9 shining UFOs near a hill around Seattle. people reported seeing flying UFOs from all across America. They were flying very fast with speeds of 2,000 km per hour.
A man from New Mexico found some weird waste on his field 3 weeks ago. The US Army claimed to have received proof of UFOs, but the next day they retract their stance and said that the debris was from a weather balloon.
Years later, rumours of an alien craft being spotted flying over the New Mexico desert were repeated, and in 1980 Major Marcel wrote the book, The Roswell Incident.
Since then, new theories have come up about the Roswell Incident, including the theory that a living alien was discovered in the UFO crash and that the US Army is trying to reverse-engineer alien technology.
A college student named Matty Roberts was inspired to infiltrate Area 51 after listening to a podcast by Bob Lazar. He created a Facebook event, Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us, and suggested that people gather at Area 51 at 3AM on 20th September 2019.
This Facebook event was a prank. It included doing the Naruto Run, in which the main character runs like this.
Matty Roberts created a prank event on Facebook that was so popular that the FBI showed up at 10AM. He released a statement saying, "Hello US Government, I explicitly said I was not responsible," and said that 2 million people had shown an interest in coming to Area 51.
Area 51 is on the largest government-controlled land in America, and is spread over more than 12,000 km2. It is a restricted military facility where America had carried out testing of nuclear weapons.
Area 51 was created during the Cold War as a testing and development facility for aircraft. The most important spying aircraft in America's history were tested in Area 51, and the outside world knew very little about this area.
Today, it is very easy to spy on the internet using public WiFI, and you wouldn't even be aware of being hacked.
To protect yourself from Man-In-The-Middle attacks and maintain your privacy on the internet, I would recommend using a VPN. Nord VPN has more than 5,400 servers across 59 countries and can be used to access blocked websites in China.
In 1954, the CIA was tasked with finding a location where they could start a High-Altitude Reconnaissance Program. They found a secret base in the middle of a dried-up lake bed in Nevada, which is known by another name, Area 51.
President Eisenhower launched a covert CIA program in 1953, and the U-2 spy plane was the most important spy plane in America's history. But in 1960, a U-2 aircraft was taken down by a missile, and the military was pressured to develop a faster, more secretive aircraft.
The CIA used UFOs to keep their top secret military aircraft program a secret. They let people believe that they were alien flying saucers, but the government admitted the existence of aliens and that they were running experiments on aliens, which created an outcry in the country.
In the 1970s, the rumours of UFOs reemerged, but in 1994, the facts were revealed, and some people still fanned the conspiracy theories.
Area 51 being associated with aliens is said to be because of conspiracy theorists like Bob Lazar. However, the government was quite concerned with this event, so they sent more police personnel than the number of people actually participating in this event.
The Roswell incident was a nuclear surveillance balloon developed under Project Mogul so the Soviet Union could detect sound waves from a large distance.
The spread of these conspiracy theories is due to the repeated misstatements from the government and the scepticism of people towards the government statements. The truth remains that military drones, military decoy flares, or any unknown air infrastructure developed by the military are mistaken by people to be UFOs.
The US Airforce investigated several UFO sightings and saw that the flight records matched. The majority of the UFO reports were eliminated this way.
Conspiracy theorist Bob Lazar, who claimed to have been hired by the government to investigate alien technology, had fabricated even his educational background, and claimed to have studied at MIT, but there are no official records of it.
Bob Lazar claimed that the alien spacecraft was powered with Element 115, but several years later Russian scientists produced this element and named it Moscovium. It doesn't create any field of gravity.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, this request was filed in 2005 and the information was released in 2013.
Newly released CIA documents acknowledge the site for the first time, but don't expect to gain insight into aliens or spaceships.
The CIA declassified thousands of documents on UFOs in January 2021, after the USSR downed a high-flying U-2. Some reports were quite interesting.
A mysterious explosion was seen above a Russian city, and an unidentified flying object was spotted above Azerbaijan's capital, Baku.
When the US government released the Covid stimulus in December 2020, they also released all the records they had on UAPs to the public.
In April 2020, 3 videos were released by the US Pentagon. The Defence Department created a UAP Task Force to detect, analyse, and catalogue UAPs.
There have been several incidents in the last 5 to 10 years where US pilots observed UFOs, but they did not claim that the UFOs were built by aliens or that they were of extraterrestrial origins.
Area 51 is a military facility where next generational aircrafts are tested. It has become a global sensation and a good source of tourism for the American state of Nevada.
