My Opinion Counts
Those who want War…Don’t Go to Battle Field!

My focus of panic shifted from the job loss I suffered to the Russian Invasion in Ukraine. The plight of people who are suffering from the attack is blowing me off adding woes to my sleepless nights.
We know that war always threaten the economy of both the countries and when a super power is involved, then it will definitely it will impact the whole world. CNBC is saying that Russia’s Ukraine incursion could complicate the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decisions. This is in global perspectives, now at local perspective it will reduce my chances of fetching a new job!!!
India and Russia are having good economic ties, there will be impact. This conflict would disrupt global supply chains, putting upward pressure on prices while pushing down economic growth in our country also. There will be a price rise in every walk of life. The impact on the economy of India will be much higher than what the country is faced during Covid-19 pandemic.
The very first impact as been in news is the rise of petroleum products. This is certainly going to affect the cost of logistic movements of products all over the world and India. Naturally the cost of export and import will affect and also will impact the cost of local products. Ultimately this disturbance will have a longer impact to our lives too!
I still wonder whether my opinion will count after writing this blog? Who is gong to listen to my voice? I don’t want death of soldiers and the citizens. I still wonder what the need is to fight for territory as I am a normal human being. Does this mean I am a poor leader? Praying for Peace in #Ukraine and #Russia.
The developments in between two countries, Ukraine and Russia takes back to the of war between Iran and Iraq. We grew up hearing about the news of war between these countries and the civilian plane crash which led to change up the whole scenario. Being a son of a soldier, fighting with enemies is not a big deal with me. Earlier I never thought otherwise, at later stage I realized that for a soldier of either size is an enemy.
I was deeply pained to see the videos showing falling soldiers coming from the war zone. Some of them will become war crimes in due course of time. Ultimately it is not the leaders who will pay the price, it is the citizens and soldiers who suffer the most. The ultimate sacrifice of life, the job which it demands, and every soldier knows.
The photographs and videos are not easy to share, but needs to be shared all over. We need to tell people that violence doesn’t looks good. There is no beauty, it only aggravates bitterness among opponents and which passes through generations. It will leave a long chain of grieving families who will remember them in the coming years.
The technology can be precision with advancement, but the life of soldiers in the ground or in the air will always be in danger. We should acknowledge these events will given opportunities for writers and singers to prepare new songs for praising the bravery of soldiers, but can’t give them their lives back.
There is a thin line between being motivated and pushed to fight with people who live in different boundaries of land, there is a psychological challenge. We cannot fix responsibilities, we cannot judge how things are being handled at political level. The words like UN, Security Council, Vetoes were part of our geography and history lessons. There are leaders who tend to fix responsibilities, there are countries who oppose and many who don’t. Ultimately what is going to happen, difficult to predict at present. We can only pray for cessation of violence in the region.
The appeal by igor Polikha, the Ukranian envoy to India gone viral in social media on the occasion of Maha Shiv Ratri, made me emotional today. Definitely it is upto the hands of Lord Shiva who can give senses to the people to stop the killings of people. The War word is typical in English, it can be war of Words, similarly battle and fighting. But I do not advocate killings of people, we have grown up with the philosophy of Live and Let Live.
We also lost one student from Karnataka, Naveen Shekharappa Gyanagoudar and another getting injured has increased the palpitation. What’s next, every second watching the developments in the electronic media. I wish everyone to join and chant the following mantra of Lord Shiva:
“Om Triyambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti Vardhanaam! Urvarukamina Bandhanantt Mrityomukshiya Mamritaat!!”
One of the extremely powerful manta helps us to escape the fear of losing life. God Shiva is known as the Lord of death and destruction, we expect only he can save us from the unknown fear of death and destruction. We with the Family members of people whose loved ones are stranded in War borne areas of Ukraine can recite this mantra to save them from death.
Those who want War…Don’t Go to Battle Field!
This is an interesting quote written in Bengali (an Indian language of Eastern part of India). The translated version says “Those who go to the battle field, do not want the War… Those who want the War, Never go to the Battle Field!”.
Interesting quote moving inside my mind as a Crab and crawling in my Platter i.e. my Life!
If we ask any passerby or friend, do u want a war, he will definitely say ‘No”! Then why we choose to fight a blood bath?! There can be many reasons to justify for those who are involved or being forced to indulge. May be we don’t know the reason and we are the people who are far away even from different continent.
A video game of fight can be interesting for those who sit in the air conditioned room, but it is a horror who are in the battle field. If we think of the normal people who are not involved in any gun fight and face the bullets or come under shelling! I wonder who can justify this act!
The war always means blood bath and destruction. The vibration and bitterness is carried over in generations. We still talk of World War I and World War II. We talk of genocide; we talk of people who were ruthless and brute during that period. I don’t know what is the excitement in discussing these episodes and what are the learnings we had after reading history books!
This is the generation of Internet, we have the tool to write and throw whatever we want to tell and express anything. Then what can be the worth of not conveying the message that please don’t kill people, don’t create situations where people have to take refuge elsewhere!
I am just a blogger, I can’t force anyone to stop the fight, I don’t want to go to the reasons for the initiation of fight. Let’s spread the message of “Live and Let Live”, because the Earth has enough capacity to control and punish anything it feels wrong either it is pollution or felling of trees. Any cyclone can wipe of cities and flood can displace people to be rehabilitated at other places. I would urge everyone who are involve in this to think over and find alternative ways to find a solution to the issues. Don’t kill people, who were living peacefully!
It was heart breaking to see the footage from Russian State TV at Gostomel airport, North of Kyiv showing the world’s largest aircraft, Antonov An-225 Mriya destroyed after the battles of Hostomel to take control of the airport. It was reportedly destroyed on 24th February, 2022.
Price of War, People & Politics
The tussle and fight between Ukraine and Russia will end one day, the leaders will come and shake hands. This will definitely be written in future, we can easily predict! But the question is what about the people who are waiting for their loved ones to return from the battle field? There will be mother waiting for her kids, wives waiting for their husbands likewise, every concerned person who is directly or indirectly involved in the war zone will wait for their loved ones.
The death is irreversible happening and no one in this world can replace anyone. No one can replace the feelings and emotions one had developed for the other. We cannot compensate a life which is lost, nor the scare created by war can be healed ever.
Irony for those who have left their hometowns and have become refugees. Whether they will take refuge or come back. The days will be never be the same as they had seen before the conflict. The Town and Colonies will be rebuilt, but things will never be the same. There will stories of lost pet animals along with the people who lost their lives. The loss will be irreversible!
I have my own conception of celebration of courage and bravery in war, unless one knows how scary it is to face the death without a reason. I always question myself whether we find reasons to fight with other or find reasons to get into a conflict and harm.
With the backdrop the Russo-Ukranian conflict, the world leaders are now involved in constructive conversations. Due to Russian invasion in Ukraine, there is a humanitarian crisis which is unfolding day by day. There is a feeling of suffocation all over, leaders are discussing the fate of people and interestingly by them who could have tried to reduce the pressure created few months back. Many times it seems everyone was waiting for something like this to happen.
There is another discussion floating all around questioning the existence of United Nations. Many want to prove it worthiness. There are stories floating around with its working style and outcomes. Whenever it is guns, there is violation of human rights, many times there are friendly fires killing their own people and colleagues. The war zone is just like giving key board and internet to everyone, where one can write anything, likewise, the guns blow with blood in the brains!
Apart from loss of human life there is always a cost associated with war, who will pay the price? The suffering is like two sides of coin, which ever the way you flip it. We can compensate by rehabilitating or giving refuge to one’s country but can’t give back the life they had before any conflict! We cannot give back the son, who lost his life in the battle, nor the father to kid who was waiting for him to return, I wonder who will bear this cost? The scar will keep on aggravating day be day and will remain in their mind for generations.
