My Funny Valentine
Couldn't take a chance to wait for 2/14
I'm probably the furthest thought on your mind. There is no absolute rational method to what I'm about to say, that I'm sure you would consider. Well, expressing myself to a true Southern Belle, I would hope that my presentation touch you in a gentle way.
Yeah, I can imagine the amount of men that approach you on social media, at the supermarket, or just when you are out and about. However, none of them can out work me on my worst day when it comes to showing you that I can really care about you. I have no problems with expression and lack the reserve in holding back in letting you know what I like.
Here you see me and you may have read my other letters, and you are thinking why should you stand out. I honestly don't know, but if you allow me to place my attention on you, it will never go anywhere else. I often see the beauty in women and I write about the short story within. Quite as kept, I don't want to tell anyone about you and want to keep my story about you all to myself.
I want to tell you if you have a Valentine's date, to cancel and tell him you have other plans. I want to tell you that when I see you, I see a calm water that flows after many storms. I want to tell you that looking at you could never be a bad thought. I want to tell you that expression is free and there in no judgment. I want to tell you that you can be comfortable with me, but I'm sure that will take time. I want to tell you something I never told anyone else. I want to show you my scares and hope that you would receive me with no judgement. I want to tell you that exploring you would be a joyous occasion. I want to get comfortable with you and let it be ok for you to know that waiting on a special day to send you flowers is complete nonsense.
Maybe the distance is something that is way out of consideration. Maybe the dynamics aren't where they should be. Kind of like baking a cake. You have milk, sugar, eggs, flour, salt, flavor and other ingredients, it takes something and someone special to neatly put them all together; for an end result that brings pleasure. So yes, Yvonne! This letter was crafted for you and your response is appreciated and welcomed. However, if you don't then I can never blame something magical happening not happening because of my lackluster.

Now I won't waste time in telling you what you already know, but I want to give you the opportunity to learn things about me some of my closest friends don't even know. I want to touch your heart where you might have closed everyone else off to, but I dare to journey and hope to find someone worth not letting go. I naturally want to give you a desire to want me and think about me as I think about you. So this is a story that I don't have to tell anyone else.
So if you don't mind. I wrote this to say if you don't mind being my Valentine, I would mind trying to be your Valentine each and every day, one day at a time. No fancy lines and no smoke and mirrors, just plain ole me, trying to genuinely impress you. No pressure of course, just know that there is no shame in me telling you that I just want to explore my desire for you. Happy Valentine's Day!
