Erik ten Hag wants Manchester United to sign a striker "immediately". However, the Red Devils manager may have to wait.

The Daily Mail reports that United will finally make an offer for Atlanta forward Rasmus Hojlund.

It will likely fail. United are only willing to pay £60million for Hojlund, according to the Times. Atlanta wants £86.5million. Which is ridiculous for a youngster without a league double. However, the Italians know how desperate United is, so you can't blame them for trying.

Atalanta's demands may force United to look elsewhere. The Mirror says they're still tracking Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani and Ajax's Mohammed Kudus.

United should do everything to sign Harry Kane. They're not. According to the BBC, they haven't called Tottenham despite Joe Lewis's demand that Kane sign or be sold.

While Kylian Mbappe considers the craziest offer ever, United are not interested in him. PSG will use the world record fee if Mbappe accepts Al Hilal's £1.65million-a-day offer.

The Independent reports that PSG will immediately meet Spurs' £100million valuation for Kane, even though the England striker has reportedly ruled out a move to Paris. Bayern Munich may be optimistic about signing the 29-year-old.

After hearing that Tottenham's chairman, Daniel Levy, has been told by the club's majority owner, Joe Lewis, that Harry Kane cannot run down his contract and leave for free next year, Manchester United may reconsider their interest in the striker.

On Friday, Kane, 30, enters the final year of his six-year Spurs contract. Bayern Munich, among other top clubs, has made two unsuccessful bids for him. Levy has offered Kane a massive contract to keep him at Tottenham.
