Loving Kindness
.

As Divine Humans (and we are all born as Divine Creatures), we are constantly tested. Constantly. Don’t forget that. We are constantly tested.
This week, we all were given a major lesson in humanity, and many failed, and many passed this test beautifully.
I am talking about the implosion of the Titan submersible. The Divine (God) in his infinite mercy enabled these souls to pass quickly and probably with no knowledge of their fate. They did not suffer. Yes, they lost their lives, but remember everything happens for a reason and these souls agreed to this demise before coming to earth. They also agreed to be part of a larger lesson for all of us and your reaction to this tragedy indicates your level of spiritual growth and whether you passed or failed.
Our souls are sent to earth for very simple reasons and that is to learn Love, Empathy, and Compassion toward each other and to learn and master the Triad of Truth (releasing ego, surrendering will, and embracing faith). That is our only job. Our goal here is not to make a lot of money, have beautiful clothes and homes, and to live the American dream of material success. It is to learn love. It is to learn love. It is to learn love. I said that three times to make it stick.
Keep in mind, if being wealthy is part of your soul’s lesson on this specific life journey, the Divine will provide you with that because it is a “need” for you in this lifetime to initiate growth. In this instance, these souls agreed to live and die wealthy, successful and adventurous. Their final task as dying and in the method the Divine choose, was to provide a lesson to see if other souls would pray and show love and compassion toward them as Divine Humans or if they would choose to mock, act god-like in their judgement, and emanate hatred toward people they did not even know. If you allowed yourself to be triggered by this forcing you to post hateful memes and posts, you are not mastering your ego. None of us are any more special than these victims. None of us are. We are all one. I AM.
And posting hatred only says, “I think I am better than these people because they were arrogant and stupid for even doing this.” That’s not your call. That is out of control ego. Propagating hatred is not your soul journey. You should have learned from this. Your only call in this situation was to pray for the victims and their families and to feel love and compassion for them. If you did not, you need to step back and look at your own damaged soul.
Only God judges. Whether you believe him a Divinity or not, you do NOT have the right to judge someone especially based on loose facts that you twist to meet your own hateful and personal agenda. You are not equipped to go mano a mano with the Divine
These souls had transitioned to the other side before the public was even aware of their plight. At that point, we were in the examination hall. We were all being tested. Again, did you pass? Or did you fail?
Did you react with love, concern and compassion as the Divine intends? Or did you react with hatred, judgement and intolerance mocking these people for their “wealthy selfishness” and your own self-righteous ignorance? The Divine says we are to love each other as ourselves. And it doesn’t matter if they were wealthy, poor, different skin color, or what you perceived as their past sins due to the fact that they were wealthy. AGAIN, it is not our place as mortals to judge in this manner. These were souls and for three days all we knew was that they might be suffering immensely (thank the Divine they were not, because the Creator is the ultimate purveyor of compassion). Apparently, based on so many responses, there is a lot of self-hatred going on in the world.
In the Bible:
Leviticus 19:18: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
John 13:34: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."
Romans 13:8: "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law."
1 Corinthians 13:4-8: "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
From the Koran
Amaali of Shaikh Saduq (a.r.), p. 401 - “Love for others whatever you love for yourself and dislike for others what you dislike for yourself.”
And in Buddhism - There is a Buddhist meditation practice known as Loving Kindness (You don’t have to be Buddhist to do it.) It has the immediate benefit of sweetening and changing old habituated negative patterns of mind. In this simple practice, one begins with truly experiencing love for themselves, and from there, one meditates on kindness to others.
The lesson/tragedy went on for three days as a test for all of us. The Divine gave all of us three days to do the right thing, giving all of us ample time to take the test and learn from it? So, again, let me ask you, did you pray for these souls showing you were learning the lessons of compassion? Or did you mock and vilify them based on your own judgments (Remember, only the Divine judges us after death).
