Love

We locked eyes and something shifted . The sun brighter than ever with a faint breeze. Long conversations about past life experiences and current reality. Everything felt right and the connection wasn’t just built on compatibles , it was built from the time invested . The attraction was intense. We sat in dark cars for hours with many words or just listening to the sound of music . Our connection evolved day after day . What do you do when you feel this amazing feeling? This was the moment when you asked yourself the tough questions .I’m I ready for this ? Do I have what it takes to trust my heart and take care of someone else’s . Life showed up and sitting with a tall glass of wine with a beautiful meal . Love made a decision . Hands sweaty with a racing heart and words of saying ok let’s do it . That moment was priceless , unplanned and scary.Many emotions flowing ,yet love was winning so we took a chance . This felt different and we dived in deep. Magical moments took over and hearts were pure and beautiful. Love wasn’t the driving force of the decision it was a choice. Just moments into this journey life discovery showed up . You seen the differences , The individuality, and the past that always seen to show up no matter what. We all have a journey we’ve came from and clearly somethings were heavier than others . Love showed up at the most strangest time . It wasn’t when things were perfect . Love showed up in the darkest days when fear and trust was on the line and uncertainty was speaking loud . You can’t say you love someone when it’s light outside only . The decision that was made in the beginning came with commitment a lot of talks and understanding. The talks became a lot more uncomfortable than normal because this was the part of the journey where you’re learning and studying your partner . Even though you recognize the amazing things you couldn’t deny the ugly parts.The choice of love became real with laughter , tears frustration, understanding, misunderstanding, fear and faith . A combination of things that most people don’t admit . Love and I locked eyes again this time it felt different than our original encounter. We had an awareness about one another . The choice was ours . Asking the hard questions again on repeat . Can we do this? This is bigger than love, it was more a made up mind to grow in this journey. Our beautiful days were cherished in quick conversations recaps . Our hard days were even beautiful it was lessons ,vulnerability and empathy . Boundaries being set as we allowed our choice of love to guide .We definitely honor the fact that love picked us to do life together. God is definitely involved. This right now moment of choice has helped us both grow and see life differently . Becoming a better person within and even self discovering the importance of self love . This love is changing the narrative of just butterflies and warm feelings . Yet love is in the real moments when you don’t have a solution and may not understand how the future will look . All you know is now in this present moment love is the greatest choice made. The greatest moment to stand boldly with a level of compassion and grace . Love may not always win every battle ,yet love always wins at the end only if it’s your choice .
