Lost and Found: A Story of Two Best Friends

Discovering the Value of True Friendship

By Martian Published 3 years ago 4 min read

Prakash and Preethi first met in their college. They were both in the same class and quickly became close friends. They were both pursuing the same course, and it was evident from the beginning that they shared a lot of common interests. They spent hours talking about their passions and dreams, and soon became inseparable.

Prakash was the kind of person who was always there for Preethi. He was always cheering her on and supporting her, no matter what she was going through. On the other hand, Preethi was the kind of person who always put a smile on Prakash's face, no matter how bad his day was. They were the perfect match and quickly became best friends.

Prakash

However, as time went by, Prakash started to realize that he had feelings for Preethi. He had a crush on her and wanted to take their friendship to the next level. He mustered up the courage to tell her how he felt, but before he could, he discovered that Preethi had already fallen in love with someone else.

Prakash was heartbroken. He didn't know how to deal with the fact that the girl he loved was in love with someone else. He tried to hide his feelings, but it was evident that he was struggling. Preethi noticed this and she felt guilty. She didn't want to hurt Prakash, but she also didn't want to lead him on.

Preethi decided to talk to Prakash about how she felt. She told him that she appreciated their friendship, but that she was in love with someone else. Prakash listened to her and told her that he understood. He also told her that he would always be there for her, no matter what.

Prakash and Preethi continued to stay in touch, even after they both left college. Prakash had gone on to become a successful handball player and was now the coach of the girls' team. Preethi, who had always been a fan of the sport, wanted to join the team. She knew that Prakash was her coach, but she also knew that he was the best person to help her improve her skills.

So, Preethi approached Prakash and asked if she could join the team. Prakash was initially hesitant, as he didn't want to mix their friendship with their professional relationship. However, he eventually agreed, knowing that Preethi was determined to improve her handball skills. As they started to spend more time together They talked and laughed, just like they used to in college.

Preethi

Prakash was a great coach and Preethi soon became one of the best players on the team. They were both proud of each other's achievements and they were happy to be back in each other's lives. They were both glad that they had put aside their differences and that they had given their friendship another chance.

However, as time went by, Preethi started to feel like she was neglecting other people in her life. She was so focused on her friendship with Prakash that she wasn't making time for anyone else. She started to worry about what others might think of her, and she felt guilty for not being there for her other friends and family members.

At the same time, Prakash was always there for Preethi, always offering his support and protection. He loved her and wanted to be there for her, no matter what. But Preethi began to feel overwhelmed by his constant presence, and she started to push him away.

Preethi didn't want to hurt Prakash, but she knew that she needed to make some changes. She decided to start ignoring him, not answering his calls or texts, and avoiding him whenever she could. It was a difficult decision, but she felt like it was the only way to preserve her other relationships.

Prakash was devastated when he found out why Preethi had been ignoring him for all this time. His heart was broken and he couldn't believe that she had pushed him away because of what others might think. He was the type of person who didn't care about what others thought and lived life to the fullest. But, the thought of losing Preethi was too much for him to bear and he sank into a depression.

His friends were there for him, but he felt like nothing could fill the void that Preethi had left. However, as time went by, he started to realize that he needed to move on and focus on himself. He started to avoid Preethi, not wanting to be hurt again.

Meanwhile, Preethi realized her mistake and how foolish she had been. She didn't waste a single second and immediately went to meet Prakash to apologize. However, it was too late, and Prakash did not accept her apology. He was still hurt and didn't want to open up to her again. He avoided her, not wanting to be hurt again.

Preethi was left feeling regretful and guilty for what she had done. She realized that she had taken Prakash for granted and that she had lost the best friend she had ever had. She tried to make amends, but Prakash was distant and unwilling to forgive her. Preethi was left with a broken heart and the knowledge that she had lost one of the most important people in her life.

The End.

The moral of the story is that it's important to value and cherish the relationships we have with the people who matter most to us. Preethi learned this lesson the hard way, as she realized too late how much she had taken Prakash for granted and how much he meant to her.

Prakash, on the other hand, learned that it's important to take care of ourselves and not let the opinions of others define us. He also learned the importance of moving on from toxic relationships and focusing on his own happiness.
