Looking for Change

Do you ever wonder where time has gone? Do you look back and think what have I even done with my life? We all ask these questions or at least I think we all do because I know I have at points in my life. We can get so caught up in the 9 to 5 life that we forget to actually live. We do tasks everyday that keep us busy but what does that even do for us? We wonder what have we even accomplished. We look at our accomplishments and think how much greater they could of been and compare ourselves to people who have done more.

It's so easy to get stagnant and complacent where we are. We stop growing and stop learning and just hope to get through the next day. This isn't what life should be. This isn't how I want my life to be. I want to continue growing and learning and pushing myslef forward. I know I have talents and I want to use them to their full potential but if I allow myself to just settle then when will I grow? If I allow myself to settle then how will I inspire others? Will there be a legacy I leave? What good will I give this world.

I don't want people to wonder if I can or will be willing to help them. I want to live my life where I am open to learning and teaching. I want to inspire others to be like me or to use their gifts in ways that will bring good into the world. We all have gifts and we all have talents. What we do with those can define the kind of person we are. If we just use our talents to bring fame and glory to ourselves what good does that really do? Eventually everyone will foget your name. But if you use your talents to help others and inspire others to be better then when everyone forgets your name your legacy will continue in the good that is being passed on from what you did.

It's so important in my opinion to be looking for change. Not change for the sake of change but change to grow and get better. We will never arrive at our destination but the journey is what makes us who we are. If we always have our eyes on the prize then we will be making our decisions based on how we think we can get there. If that prize is something benificial to others than we are going to leave people better because they crossed paths with us. This is what true humanity should be about. Helping others before helping ourselves. If everyone would put others before themselves we would live in a much different world than we live in today. There wouldn't be wares or crime. Everyone would look out for one another. We wouldn't have to worry about walking outside alone because we could trust everyone wanted what was best for us. Unfortunately that is not the world we live in.

My brain and writing is all over the place so let's summarise what I am trying to say real quick. I think change for the sake of learning and growing can be so important. We must remember others on our journey towards our destination and help them get to where they want to go as we are on our journey. Putting others first is key to finding our own way.
