Life’s Journey and Purpose

Thinking about myself in eight years to come allows me to analyze my goals and ambitions in life. As I reflect on my childhood, I have many aspirations and dreams that I would like to accomplish. My goals range from economic, social, and spiritual. In eight years, I aspire to have my dream job and start a business. I also pray that I will own a two-storied building with five bedrooms and a car. I hope that I will have my own family. I also hope to be having enough finances to cater for vacations with my family. This paper focuses on discussing where I see myself in eight years.

In eight years, I will be working as a counselor or a higher education lecturer. I aspire to buy a storied building with five bedrooms in the suburbs. It will have a swimming pool and be surrounded by a garden of flowers. I also hope to own a cosmetic line to create more jobs for the jobless and improve the satisfaction of my customers. Moreover, I pray that in the eight years, I will start a family of my own. What is the essence of striving to accomplish goals if I do not have someone to share my success with? I hope that within the same period I will have at least one child. I hope my family will be full of love and fun-loving so that we can spend quality time together.

Additionally, in the eight-year timeline, I hope to buy my car. As I love exotic vehicles, I hope to acquire a Mercedes Maybach as time progresses. With my family, I want to visit various destinations for vacations. I also want to start a charitable foundation as a way of giving back to society. Furthermore, I want to improve my spiritual life. It is useless to accomplish all the dreams in life and lose yourself to the world. Therefore, I want to develop my relationship with God.

To accomplish my aspirations in eight years, I plan to go step by step. I plan first to finish my grade twelve. I will proceed to decide the career I want to pursue. I am torn between being a school lecturer and a counselor. To achieve my goal, I will pursue Education or Psychology. I will ask for advice from experienced people on what the jobs entail to enable me to decide the career I would prefer the most. I will apply my first year at Harrison Middleton University in Arizona to pursue education as my first choice is to become a higher education lecturer. As my parents do not have enough finances to pay for my university fees, I will apply for a scholarship since the university offers scholarship opportunities. During my period at university, I will apply for internships so that I can gain more experience. I will also enroll in a master's program to increase my chances of getting a secure job as a higher education lecturer. To acquire my ideal house, I will use a good mortgage plan.

When I settle down, I hope to ensure a unique culture for my family that will make it interesting. We will be spending more time together, especially during weekends. We will also go on various vacations together as we explore more countries and sceneries. Moreover, I have always wanted to venture into the cosmetics industry. My spouse and I will save enough money to open a cosmetics line. I will employ employees with similar minds to help me build my vision. I will also establish a charity foundation by relying on my savings and donations from volunteers. To improve my spiritual life, I will be reading spiritual books and attending religious seminars.
