How Dating Almost Cost Me My Life
It was the day after Thanksgiving, 2017. I was lonely after breaking up with my boyfriend in October and this was the first time I spent a holiday without him. I had this friend whom I also knew was quite lonely and depressed during the holiday so I thought I would hit him up to have dinner. I felt bad that he didn't go out of town to spend the day with his family as he initially planned and I knew he was alone and lonely and could've used some good company, just as I did.

The Massage: Part 1
Have you ever had a massage that just relaxed all your joints loose, and muscles like jelly? That’s what she did to me when she stepped into my life that summer. This was too elaborate to just be a chance happening, and too random not to expect it to happen, but I fell into it hard. Where are my manners? My name is Alex and I live in New York City—well, Manhattan, to be specific. What I’m talking about exactly is the sensuous beginning this girl and I had, but the tragic ending it all had. It was so wrong but so right at the same time, like there was no control over it. Strangely, I felt like I needed this break, this whatever—well, to be exact, this affair on both parents, but let’s start from the beginning.

However, our wonderful movie creators and authors forget to mention a lot about how living with someone can be stressful and how life isn’t as easy as wishing upon a star.

I'll See Your Relationship Goals...
I never really cared for the lives of celebrities and reality TV. I always found it rather odd at how people gravitate towards them for entertainment. Especially when it came to their dating lives when there’s so much else going on in the world. Like the Cleveland Lebron's swapping their roster out with a new one before the trade deadline and the tensions between the US and...well everyone. I spend most of my time on social media, just like 91 percent of Earth’s population, and I see some of the most below-the-bar acts of love that are deemed #RelationshipGoals. Despite all of this and my sentiments, there is an exception to every complaint. I drop everything to read any tweet or like any pic that showcases the love of these couples. Other than my parents, THESE are the relationship goals I aspire to have someday with a woman who’s stupid...I mean willing to spend her life with me.

The Dreaded Distance Debate
Long late night phone calls — or early morning ones — love letters, the belief that distance making our hearts grow fonder. The idyllic dream of the long distance relationship being a book worthy tale which more often than not can end up being a bunch of unanswered texts or phones calls, and wondering whether staying up in the middle of the night because your partner is in a different time zone just to have a 5 minute conversation is worth it.
