Damaged: Part 2
Will woke up alone in his room to a deadly silence. So many mornings he'd woken up in Sergio's arms, feeling his warm body and listening to his heartbeat pounding away. Now, it was just cold and quiet. It was deafening, the stillness in the air; as if he were stuck inside a vacuum with nothing but dead space. A feeling of deep discomfort overcame him, feeling as if he was the only person left in the world. Maybe that wouldn't be such a bad thing, being all alone. The quiet stillness of his bedroom was so lonely it seemed as if he were stuck in some kind of dream or floating in limbo somewhere between the real world and his imagination. He laid in his bed staring up at the ceiling hoping he'd never have to move again. The mere thought of rising out of bed and doing something was exhausting and even sickening. He grabs his phone to check the time and sees he's missed some calls from Jessica. Ugh, he thought. Certainly by now she had heard what happened with Sergio the night before. She's trying to be his friend and provide comfort and support for him, he knew that, but it seemed impossible to talk to her at this time. He wanted to be alone and forgotten, if just for the day.

Who Knows?
Look up the Webster’s definition. Read some Lord Byron. Practice some meditations on a mountaintop with some gurus. Do what you want, but the answer to the age old question, “What is love?” won’t come until we ask how we define it for ourselves and look at how we manifest that definition in our own lives.

Do You Believe in Love at First Sight? (ToTD)
I do and I don’t. It can happen but it doesn’t always, it is one of the many types of love someone can experience in their lifetime. Sometimes you meet someone and instantly you’re in awe of them and within seconds of meeting you know there’s something about them that isn’t ordinary. They stand out from the crowd and they haven’t even said a word yet; not only are they beautiful but there’s just something about them, something no one can ever write about without sounding like a delusional freak.

The Opiate of Loneliness
Loneliness never provided a sensation. When I walked alone, it was usual and quite ordinary. Like wearing another layer of skin, I didn't mind it and often it kept me warm from the vile chill from the rest of the world. As a kid, it was second nature and as an adult, it's the Snuggie I crawl into when my hatred of humanity reaches its pinnacle. There are those times, however, where loneliness is excruciating.

Worst. Date. Ever.
The worst date I have ever been on was when a kid I had known for quite a long time who constantly bugged me to hangout and then I would not hear from him or I would blow him off because of it, asked me to go to a hockey game with him. Being a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan (and not to mention the seats were awesome), I thought that I would give this kid one last shot. What was the worst that could go wrong?
