A Sign From My Love
One day as I walking my daughter Amelia along the same path we took every day to school, we came across this piece of broken rock that resembles a heart. As many times as we've walked right by and never saw this, one day we notice it. She says, " Mom look it's a heart. Daddy sent this to you so you know he's thinking of you!"

It's in His Kiss
Very little can rival the unbridled virility that is the sexiness of the Brazilian man. The passion, the confidence, the dancing, the kissing... Oh god, the kissing... I have now learned that the French Kiss is a misnomer. I thought I'd been on dates before. I thought I had danced before. Hell, I even thought I'd been kissed before, but when we swiped right, I had no idea what was about to happen.

Finding Henry
As the bus arrived that morning, I felt as if this day would be different. Oh, how I wish I was wrong; yet at the exact moment that the thought ran through my mind, the bus splashed through the puddle just four steps away from me at full speed. the once cute maroon business suit I picked out for the day was now soaked with the garbage left by fate. Yet as I lifted my arms to block my face from any flying debris, a briefcase came swinging at what I was sure to hit me square in the face, and instead it jammed my pointer finger so hard from impact I was sure it was broken, thus causing the random hero to remove his briefcase, and my face was, in fact, drenched with dirty gutter water and a flyer for bad Chinese food sticking to my beautifully applied makeup. I then felt his had remove the flyer and begin to pat dry my face with the softest thing I've ever felt. Almost as if he was trying to preserve what was left of my face, I opened my eyes and, to my surprise, he wasn't drop dead gorgeous, but instead average, with a flair for style, considering he was walking around with a silk handkerchief.

How To Tell If Your Boyfriend's Female Friend Is "Just A Friend"
We've all been there at one point: your boyfriend chats with another girl, they exchange phone numbers, they spend time together occasionally and are connected on social media. You may or may not know their history as friends (i.e. if they were exes, have mutual friends, or if they went to school together), but what you do know is that it makes you feel a little bit uncomfortable. It's warranted of course: after all, you're the girlfriend. But not all of these kinds of friendships are serious matters that you need to worry about, and it can be difficult to tell which is which without being too intrusive. Here are 10 questions you can ask yourself to determine if you should take a deep breath and relax, or if you should think about having a serious talk with your boyfriend.

Broken: Overcoming a Break-up
The Beginning of the End I'm broken. I've been trying to fix myself. But I can not do it alone. He didn't understand that I was broken... He must have thought I was "perfect." He must have thought we weren't going to have problems. I don't know what he was thinking because he stopped telling me what he was thinking. He stopped being the person he was in the beginning. I thought he was going to be more understanding because he's broken, just like me — but he didn't. The problem is he didn't see things the way I see it. We never really saw things eye-to-eye and our brokenness couldn't vibe. Because he says we're on two different levels, the way he put it — I was at the top and he was at the bottom. I guess I was out of his league to say the least. He would tell me, "I'm gonna make it with or without you," as if I didn't wanna see him make it. How could you say that to a person who supported you from the start? Nothing would have made me happier than to see him winning.

Is It Love?
Many people believe in soulmates and god lord, I want to believe so bad. But how can you ever really know he's the one for you? Now I'm having a battle if I should include you or not. I want you here, I want us to succeed, I want to love endlessly, I want to marry my best friend, and I want to have their children. But what if your emotions are too strong even for your own self? What if they're leading you in the wrong path?

Is Cultural Appropriation Preventing Change?
Could you imagine a world where only Chinese people were allowed to use chopsticks? Or a world where only Indian people were allowed to eat Indian food? I mean sure, not everyone likes an Indian or a Chinese takeout, but what about when your mother used to make you homemade lasagna or a Friday/Saturday when your dad would convince your mum to let you order a Dominos? The fact is that we live in a multi-cultural society and it’s for the best.
