Kate Henshaw Responds to Backlash After What She Said about 'Wayward' Girl (VIDEO)

Nigerian actress Kate Henshaw is catching some heat following some comments she made about the mindset of a young woman in a viral video. Here's everything you missed.

What Happened?

In a video going viral, a young lady was asked what she would pic: a working class or yahoo boy? To which she said she would pick the yahoo boy citing her reason as being that the yahoo boys spend more money, and are more into the clubbing lifestyle that she too is into. Here is the video:

Now, after that video started going viral, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw saw the video and quoted it, writing about the video and in response to it:

KATE HENSHAW: Na so dem go take pieces you for ritual...🙄🙄😫 Yeye mindset

Well, not everybody was on board with Kate's comments at all! In fact, one user by the name of Butterfly Baby responded to Kate's remarks saying:

BUTTERLFY BABY (Twitter User): Such a harmful mindset honestly. She deserves to be butchered?? coming from an older, accomplished women. This could have been an impactful moment for you to lead younger girls to be better. But of course, if a girl is used for rituals, she must’ve deserved it.

In response to the backlash, Kate Henshaw doubled down on her comment, responding to the twitter user Butterfly Baby saying:

KATE HENSHAW: You can continue to justify her, putting herself on such a low rung of the ladder.

Lead her to be better?? Can she not see her mates and how they do not choose this mindset of hers?..

Is she the only one?

Then, another user said in response to Kate's initial comment about the video saying "This is so wrong to say. How is Murder justifiable?" to which Kate Henshaw once again doubled down saying:

KATE HENSHAW: That's the value she placed on herself with her words and actions.

That's how she reduced herself to be used by all and sundry.

That's the green light she has put on but that's OK with you .

Unphased by any of the backlash, Kate Henshaw responded to a user who said "The comments under this post are the opposite of the quotes .They are agreeing with Kate in the comments but they are dragging her in the quotes." by saying:

KATE HENSHAW: Na today???

Make them go hug transformer... sadly, light no dey....

I said what I said.
