Justice Rising Part Two
It all began to fall into place...

Dedicated to the people who have not made it harder, the people who could do nothing other than spread the word, and be my support system when my friends all turned their backs on me..the Men who remind me they don't agree with the what has been done and believe, and believe in me. The kind words, the not looking at me like I am to be blamed, for looking past the imperfections..to all of you..you are my heart. To the ones who hold the other men who didn't act or do anything right accountable ..thank you.
The money hadn't shown up yet...but that didn't mean it wasn't just waiting to be sent. She had dreams and a million million dollar ideas..she just needed someone to listen and take a chance. The police officers still didn't have any concerns, neither did her old friends. Literally all she was getting these days was ex friends attacking her on the internet and not returning what they had taken. There were people out there though were just waiting to help make her famous- she just didn't realize it. She never was one for the spotlight, she always just did what was right. Her former high powered friends had pulled strings for her before when her life wasn't in danger, she needed them to start now. She had always been oblivious when it came to men caring about her. She could read them like a book, but she never realized how much they cared until they used their words. She needed that these days. She wasn't pandering or anything else. She never had, and she wasn't going to start that any time soon. She had created something for them that would have changed the entire way police officers were trained, now they were the problem. What she needed was funding, a good lawyer and a journalist that understood the ramifications of a true story that would make the entire state safe again.
Two years ago she had been still in love with a police officer who had stole her heart during his divorce. He hadn't wanted to get married so she never told him she wanted to be his wife. He didn't want anymore children, she had wanted at least one of her own. She couldn't think about a baby now until she could make sure the people who had hurt her were behind bars so they couldn't hurt anyone especially her or any child she might have. She still looked at baby clothes whenever she was at a store because the babyitis still pulled at her heart strings. She couldn't shake that. Seriously, she named stray cats everywhere she went, because she missed her two desperately. She still wondered what it would be like to be loved again, and happy but she was so busy working trying to build something that would right the world. it was her Wonder Woman Syndrome. She had always had it. She always would.
She worked to study for her LSAT, set up a business she would one day turn into her firm and make sure she was safe. Sadly, the world was still ruining in reverse of everything she knew, at least as far as she knew. She remembered the days when federal agents would accidentally tell her information, not enough to put their cases at risk but enough she knew what she was dealing with- what she called family information. She remembered police officers hell bent on justice not destruction. She remembered the good in the world but it was hard to find these days. The only thing she never noticed and never had was how much everyone loved her. It wasn't because she couldn't read people like a book, it was because she rarely recognized the good she did- it was just her. She didn't ever want anything more than justice for everyone and to see the bad guys pay for their crimes. Sadly. now it was most of the cops she had had to deal with without anyone who believed in her saying anything, which she needed. She was always a people person. She fed off of the social connections, the the light of others when her spark was going dull. The reminders that good always overcame bad. She knew she had allies she just wanted to meet them...she needed them back and their support. She had made a few upgrades..mostly basic things like cosmetic improvements so she could look at herself in the mirror again and know she could never be changed. Upgraded she reminded herself that where her friends. lovers and coworkers had failed her she was not the physical damages they had inflicted. She had big dreams and was always Daddy's little girl, Grandpa's pride and joy and The Champion. The words of Carrie Underwood's song had become her mantra- "I am invincible, unbreakable Unstoppable, unshakeable , They knock me down, I get up again. I am the champion, you're gon' know my name. You can't hurt me now, I can't feel the pain, I was made for this, yeah, I was born to win .I am the champion. When they write my story , They gonna say that I did it for the glory But don't think that I did it for the fame, yeah I did it for the love of the game, yeah , And this is my chance I'm taking..
The C is for the courage I possess through the trauma
H is for the hurt, but it's all for the honor
A is for my attitude working through the patience
Money comes and goes, so the M is for motivation
Gotta stay consistent, the P is for persevere
The I is for integrity, innovative career
The O is optimistic, open and never shut
And the N is necessary 'cause I'm never givin' up
See, they ask me how I did it, I just did it from the heart
Crushin' the competition, been doing it from the start
They say that every champion is all about his principles"
Those were the words she reminded herself. What she was and always had been and would be. She had to..too many lives, too many people's future were bound up in her success, in her memory. So they protected her where they could, not out of obligation, not out of fear but because they knew she was the only one who could do what they couldn't. She was gaining friends even if she did not know it. The Keep Calm and Carebear On was about to take a dramatic turn..full speed ahead it and she couldn't be stopped..because you can't outrun Carebear Radio or a 10-32 - code for Protect the Chief Carebear at all cost..
