I grew up in a period when I saw more hate and brutality than you could ever imagine. I watched a dad beat his child because they were not who he thought they should be.

I honour this day and every day for my mom. A very wise and intelligent woman. Her words were that "God created us all equal." So for those who are Christians and read the bible, read that and realize those are the words of the lord.

Dont turn away those of other races, colours or sexuality. Stay away from unkind, abusive and, most of all, who commit crimes.

After reading and knowing what happened to young indigenous children at the hands of those, we were raised to honour and respect. Not only abused but murdered. One small child from the small community I used to live in was a foster child. Never came home. ( often we love those we know nothing about)

The war in Ukraine, a the hands of one Russian leader. I ask myself, "Why?"

So much greed, so many lives taken. All because of power and greed, and it isn't needed. The world needs more peace, not hate nor greed but love.

You are loved. I love you. No judgment was made.

I have no time for those who abuse, hate or are racist.

If you are struggling for fear of what others think, what their response may be. Stop right there; the only person who matters is "YOU."

Like all of us, I struggled in grade school with many bullies. As I look back, I know where the bullying came from. At the hands of those who raise a child or other children. (too young to understand what hurt is)

I would love to say parents teach them how to love, not hate. Teachers, there is no favourite or best student. Every student is there to learn, maybe in a different way, perhaps not the way you had hoped to teach them.

Coaches, you dont have one best player; you have a team of all fantastic players. One may shine, but without the group, one would stand alone. Let them all know that. Be grateful for all of the abilities and qualities each player has.

Managers, a company, and the corporation does not work without a team. One may shine with skills, while the other can perform in production. Team leaders are because of their leadership skills and knowledge of how to run a business and do it well. Without your employees, where would you be today? Appreciate them all equally.

A change had to happen. I was not growing. I was sinking very fast. I am ashamed of who I became. After losing my parents and sister, I became a very angry and miserable woman. I blamed everyone and started living in the past, and I could see no future without them.

A very kind and loving friend shared her concern and spoke to me. Honestly, I know she will always be my friend and confidant. Her inspiring words said of today and the days to come.

Days filled with laughter and love, and as we advance. I was blessed to have loved and lived; now, I will live and find my blessings.

The memories will go forward with me, and changing how I think of others will only be positive. I hope to work harder at writing and sharing how much every human being matters. There is no perfect; we only do our best.

You and I are our worst enemies. The world around us does not make it any easier. We look at magazines and the media and think wow, I wish I was like them. It would be great to have a house or a car like that. How about those trips they go on?

The worst, oh yes, the perfect body. Let me know if you find that.

I will not pretend to be a doctor or a counsellor. I am no different than anyone else. I struggle and get back up again. Threw what has made me feel low has helped me grow.
